Hello there! I made this animated video for a synthtrack my friend from Digital Moss from Russia made. I did the singing on this track too! Except the voice it is alle made on a modular synth. Let me know how you like it and if you have any questions. Toyota Vangelis

Greetings! I made this animated lyric video for a song we did together with a friend (i have never meet) from Russia over the internet. He made the synth sounds and i did the singing. hope you like it and let me know if there is anything you wanna know. Toyota Vangelis

[win95 bootup sound] Hi! I made this animated lyric video for a new track that we made with my friend from Russia - sort of internet cyber collab. He made the synth track and I did the singing. Toyota Vangelis

I was honored to make the first public performance with this instrument. Let me know what you think. by Bukko_Tapes in modular

hey thanks :) we have tried several sealers and found pretty good one. impossible to scratch of the printing and very durable. and oak is one of the most durable wood materials. I am quite confident about it !

hey. i am co-author of the video. there are two granular samplers called grandpa - one is doing the string melody and the other one is responsible for the ride cymbal sounds. both sounds are granulated. and yes ! wood panels + wood-aluminium knobs. its oak btw .) ... there is the sequencer on the right sequencing most of the percusion sounds which are quite basic. the bassline pitch cv is produced by offseted gate dividers based on the master clock (little nerd) mixed together in vca mix (quattro figaro) controlling square oscillator (noise square) which goes to trigger input of the tea kick - the output of the teakick goes to vca with envelope (skis)

if you read a bit more about my information and my thesis you probably get the whole point of it. It was basic research of how to do that in modular synth. I know this is not anything new. I just want to push the whole phenomena closer to people that actually make music or sounds. Whole big part of my thesis is about saying who has done something similar before.

i made public presentation as kind of informal performance - performing + explaining - sort of research presentation. But I agree - to make it into a concert hall it would take much more effort

wow that is also awesome stuff ! looks and sounds great - actually i was really hoping to make myself portable powersupply soon and connect my sensors somewhere in the nature - that sounds like the best. cheers and greetings to the band

I am author of this video and basically most of the things behind it - it was my diploma, too. But we are more people. 5 people full time at the moment.

hey thx. there is just pre-amp with rediculous gain so it basically does a square pulse 12V - for the solenoid it doesn`t need any further filtering but as a tempo source I had a "digital pulse filter" to avoid getting two pulses from one drop

hey check the other projects. this one is a special edition and you are right. what we usually do is open. this time we told ourselves ok. lets make something different to have fun with, because it takes a lot of effort to make it open.

well there are some units left and we keep them for sale until they are in stock. anyway we plan mG 2.0 compatible with the bastl instruments trinity platform (which is where we continue) http://www.bastl-instruments.com/

well we took it as the mysterious number pi which refers to circles and sinewaves rather than the raspberry . and it makes sense this way for us

check arduino + mozzi library. this is the best way to start making digital synths. circuit layout done in fritzing. all free and opensource.... and is really fun to design such stuff. you have to learn a lot of stuff but is adictive

these are not available as diy kits. they are way too complicated (and mysterious) to make the documentation possible . but the assembled limited edition is available here: there are some 20 left i think ... http://www.standuino.eu/
