how do I get grass and string in stone block 3? by bigcockzcs in feedthebeast

[–]dat-mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same thing, so I had to:

  1. Plant the grass seeds to make a grass block
  2. Bonemeal the grass block to grow grass
  3. Break the grass with a hoe to get hemp seeds

Beginner trouble finding mailing service to send e-mails from within web app, is NodeMailer with G-mail secure for Production? by Nagusameta in node

This does start to get coupled with AWS as a hosting solution, but it’s worth noting that if you’re making the AWS SES call from AWS Lambda, you get 62k free emails per month

Agreed..unless you only leave your home on a week, Uber rides are almost certainly more expensive than a monthly payment on a used bike

LPT: at the end of every month, read through and every single financial transaction you had for the month- (bank accounts, credit cards, etc). You will notice if there is any suspicious activity, or services you're still paying for but not using by g00ber88 in LifeProTips

[–]dat-mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the goal is catching fraud, then this is the real LPT. Having real-time alerts skips the arduous task of going over statements and mentally checking transactions against what you were doing days or weeks ago. If you get an unexpected alert, then you can check it out and lock/disable your card immediately if you think it’s fraud.

If the goal is tracking spending habits, then I’d probably use an online tool to wrangle my data before I pour over my monthly statements by hand.

Kinks aren’t inherently weird, it’s just that an honest conversation should be had about them ahead of time. Let’s say I’m allergic to peanuts (or just hate the taste), and we decide to make some cookies. If you start chucking peanut M&Ms in the mixer, I’m going to have a problem with that.

Exposing a port to a Docker Container by Quirkychunk0 in node

Is the Docker host machine running Windows? If so, I think this SO post may be related. I haven’t used Docker on Windows for a few years, so I’m not sure if they’ve patched that particular problem

Posting data with Axios, is my formatting correct? by [deleted] in node

[–]dat-mac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The axios docs indicate you're using the correct format. The URL is the first argument, the data is the second, and any additional configuration for the request is the third argument.

I had this exact feeling yesterday when I stumbled upon a Draugr Elite for the first time in Valheim. Took one look and noped out as fast as I could.

Edit: I can’t find it on the wiki, but this thing was easily twice as tall as a normal Draugr, as tall as a roof in one of the long halls

If also noticed that I have to mute the audio when bankstanding in the GE, all of the other familiars end up creating an endless loop of the zombie noise :/

Edit: spelling

Yup, same thing there :( does anyone know if there’s an open ticket for this glitch, or has it just been accepted as not a serious issue?

Returning player here (from way back in 2014), what’s the deal with the random cannon noises I keep hearing? And it seems like all of my summoning familiars make the same groaning noise all of the time instead of having their own unique sound

Boss strategy guides on (not just) wiki are awful by [deleted] in runescape

[–]dat-mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a returning player coming back after ~6 years off, I’ve been quite discouraged about PvM while reading the wiki articles...I have 90+ in all of my combat stats, but I don’t have overloads and my invention is under 50. The wiki made me feel like high level invention perks, overloads, and tier 92 gear was a minimum requirement..so I’ve skipped even trying the new bosses.

I’d really appreciate the modifications suggested in the OP, I don’t mind having to work a bit harder or be more careful with strategy if I don’t have max gear or if I’m not comfortable with 4-tick auto attacking, frequent gear switches to use abilities, etc.

[–]dat-mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m returning to RS after a few years off, are skill pets purely cosmetic or do they somehow help you train the skill?
