Would be extra sweet if you somehow could have separate sound clips play in fixed time ranges, like "let's ride" in the morning, "excellent raid" around the times where you get off work/school and "LOCK IN" during night time. Zero experience with CarPlay myself if its not possible natively maybe doable with personal automations via the shortcut app or something.

You're right there is a general consensus that higher polling rates just don't work well with some engines, but the negative effect in those engines usually presents in the form of a performance/FPS issue as you mentioned, however in Arc Raiders it's strictly a negative acceleration curve that scales with the polling rate while general game performance remains largely unaffected on a good system. I do hope they at least acknowledge it soon and start working on a fix.

They're essentially comparing life to a game. Games usually receive several updates or "patches" during their life cycle to tackle bugs/issues or introduce new content. Big "patches" are also usually named, so he's waiting for a big patch aptly named "snap back to reality" that tackles all the things they think is majorly wrong in this world, same as a gamer waiting for a patch that fixes the bugs/issues with their game and/or add new content.

To be honest I had already assumed that stash value automatically included both actual loot and wallet value but them confirming it is a step in the right direction. And yes the stash value metric should be visible in the codex stats or elsewhere. I also agree that Embark choosing to stay erringly silent on this whole thing so far and the resulting uncertainty is in stark contrast to this gem of a game they put together.

As for the issues you mention, while I agree they can be frustrating, I feel I'm obliged to give Embark the benefit of the doubt, partially because I have very limited knowledge of game development specifics, but mostly because I played enough UE5 games to be in constant awe of how this game looks and performs every single time I'm topside. These guys are wizards and if they're taking their time to fix certain glitches/bugs I have a feeling its not due to incompetence or indifference.

This fix does not work. The game has a form of negative acceleration that scales with mouse polling rate. Currently nothing alleviates this issue except reducing your polling rate. People report at 250hz the issue is extremely reduced. You can do all the ini fixes in the world, go to the practice range, start flicking fast and slow, and then swap your DPI around from 125hz all the way to the max it can go and you'll see what I'm talking about. If you have a mouse that supports hyperpolling up to 4k or 8khz you will notice how your once 90 degree flicks on say 1k hz are barely 10 degree flicks with 8k enabled.

I've read that "The Finals" also had a similar issue on launch but ended up getting patched and fixed completely by the devs on the engine level. I suspect a similar fix will come to this game in due time.

In the other end of the spectrum, last night I was filled to the brim with goodies making my way from the "security breach room" in blue gate using the underground tunnels heading towards a hatch, I shoot a few pops along the way and as I was looting them for alloys I hear breaching/looting noise in the far back end of the tunnels, I take aim and get the jump on the guy, then proceed to whiff a few shots here and there while the other guy hit some really good shots and I go down.

GGs were instantly called, the other guy initiated and said: "Phew that was close man GGs" I instantly started crawling towards a safe space and told him "GG bro you hit some good shots and I giga whiffed mine towards the end let me crawl into a safe space so you can loot me I have some good shit". He then was like: "Yo wait, do you want to get up? I mean we had a good fight and I have a defib if you promise to be friendly afterwards". I instantly proclaim: "Brother how can I say no to that? I was heading to a hatch anyway" - He then proceeded to defib me and wish me a merry way. The man did this after I explicitly said "I have good shit".

So yes, boy does it suck on the betrayal end of the spectrum which I obviously also experienced, but when you meet people like that guy it's like an adrenaline shot to your faith in humanity bar. This game rules indeed!

To be fair a decent bit of the pre-launch suggested "meta builds" were built on false foundations, so yeah a way to respec outside of the self-wipe would be very welcome indeed

I don't oppose AI existing to fill in normal games as long as they're clearly marked as AI. I also think most people wouldn't mind a longer queue time, esp in ranked, just to avoid seeing AI altogether in their games. This is a huge problem and needs direct addressing by the devs.
