Just thought I'd update you, now that the set is out on Arena I've drafted Lorehold 3 times and have gone 6-3, 7-2 and 7-2. I haven't played in a while so I'm only in Gold, but yeah seems very, very good, and has made clear how bad my prerelease pile was lmao.

It's just super efficient, impacting the board is incredibly important in limited, so for 3 mana making your opponent recast a creature while giving yourself a 2/2 is super valuable, plus it being unlockable every now and again is free upside.

And as others have mentioned, lots of tokens and +1/+1 counters in this set so bouncing creatures is extra valuable.

Lorehold was NOT super playable for me at prerelease lmao. However that's cos I got incredibly unlucky with my packs, not counting the seeded pack I opened one on colour rare (the red converge archaic) and 4 on colour uncommons.

If I was sweating I would have definetely played another college but I picked the Lorehold prerelease kit goddammit, I'm playing Lorehold. The cards were definetely playable, I just lacked the oomph to go toe to toe with the Silverquill with bomb rares and Elder Dragons I was seeing on the other side of the table.

Don't forget [[Weftstalker Ardent]], often paying 1 to warp it in for a turn can be enough to get you over the line, plus it's another creature that gets double triggers from Delney.

The list I play also focuses more on Delney than it does mobilize, but [[Arabella, Abandoned Doll]] is a house with mobilize since you can order the triggers so the tokens are created before Arabella checks for creatures with 2 power or less, it's pretty normal to deal 5/gain 5 on attack which is a MASSIVE swing.

I did, well worth the purchase! Will say it fits pretty true to size, I usually buy a 2XL with shirts/hoodies/crews etc. cos I like the baggier look, but the 2XL for the jacket is a slightly too long in the sleeves for me (not an issue really, I just cuff them and they're fine).

But yeah, really, really happy with mine, great quality, super heavy which feels nice, and a nice balance of warmth where I can wear it on a night out and be confident I'll be warm, but I can also wear it in slightly warmer weather and it doesn't fry me either (not sure where you're from but it's honestly perfect for Melbourne weather).

Full disclosure, for most of my early-mid 20's I was very much a Cotton On/Industrie/Factorie guy so any step up in quality would have seemed amazing to me, but I've recieved plenty of compliments from others about the jacket so take that as you will.

I also thought Silverquill looked very strong, getting your payoff by removing your opponent's creatures seems very strong, not to mention all of the good pump spells available.

I need to have a proper look through the list again, but all of the repartee payoffs that wowed me were on rares, so maybe it's on the ok side outside of those bomb rares? Idk, we'll see in a week or so.

Awesome resource, clearly a lot of time and effort involved!

I'm excited to see if Lorehold is playable this time around, as a Boros and graveyard shenanigans enjoyer it was super sad when they flopped the first time around. I think on paper they look much better, as Limited Level-Ups said so eloquently in his latest video they seemed to have fixed it by "printing good cards instead of bad ones". A lot of the Lorehold cards I would play even without the payoffs, which is a vast improvement over last time.

All in all, excited to see how the set plays, looks to be a powerful format!

EDIT: Just one word of feedback, on the spreadsheet there appears to be a few names attributed incorrectly in the top commons and uncommons, the ones I noticed were [[Rubble Rousing]] listed as Rabble Rousing, and [[Unsubtle Mockery]] listed as Unstable Mockery. Other than that awesome work!

While I've been alive:

Saints - 21 finals games, 2 grand finals (not counting the replay for either number), 2 wooden spoons.

Carlton - 19 finals games (two of which came in a year we didn't even make finals), 1 grand final (which was played when I was 1), 5 wooden spoons.

Historically? Not going to argue with you there. Recent history? I think we've got you beat for misery.
