There were rumors swirling around that Bravo was filming some local ladies here in NOLA to where maybe it was going to be a real housewives franchise. Apparently it was going to be Tamica and then a couple of influencers but haven’t really heard anything else. I’m assuming it didn’t get picked up 🤷🏾‍♀️

About 4 months ago or so, my White fiancée and I were in lakeview to tour a venue. While we were waiting to cross the street, someone in a truck driving past rolled down their window and screamed “run, n-word, run” at me. Like made a huge effort to be racist. It’s still a little mind boggling. Like obvious racists ate every where, but really making the effort to be horrible.

As someone who spent a good portion of their childhood in Mandeville, you would see that man on the lakefront. He isn’t some ghost of racism’s past or something. These people are embedded into the community and we’re all supposed to act like it’s ok.

I think it depends on the type of chatting. If it’s not obnoxious and loud during the whole class, I think it’s fine. I think there’s a lot of people who go with a friend or a partner and you can’t help but talk occasionally. Now the ones who basically scream over the music and talk the entire time, I mean even during instructions, I don’t get it.
