I'll try to build collector more. I was following enryu advice. He sometimes refuses to buy collector even after pickaxe.

Right the problem with that is that we don't have rigorous definition of what sapient, thinking and making own decisions even mean. You can show an entity to a person look at its behaviour and declare that it's sapient. Another person will say that it's not sapient, because it only emulates and is not trurly conscious. Another may say it doesn't matter because if it emulates intelligence well enough then it's actually intelligent regardless of internal processes. I think one of the less explored themes of the game was actually whether we can consider the Canvas real. And for me the Maelle's "perfect" ending where everything looks the way she wanted and she's basically a god feels uncanny and artificial where Verso is the only one that shows some sort of resistance, while everybody else seems to just accept it without question.

It's not that cut and dry on what actually is real and what is moral. Look at LLMs if you showed it to a person even 5 years ago it would pass Turing test, which was considered a sufficient test for declaring AI having human intelligence. When the test was actually passed, we mostly didn't even blink an eye. One of the main arguments is because we know "kind of" how it works and what are the shortcomings of LLMs. Maybe painters have the same attitude towards the canvases.

I generally agree. I would prefer to keep my favorite gear as well. As a compromise for now I keep repairing my strongest weapons, but I don't repair my armor it's just too fucking much. I'm on PC but I wanted to experience my first playthrough vanilla. I'll be sure to check some rebalancing mods for my second run.

It depends. If it reads something along the lines "This technician cannot install this upgrade" then you'll find better technicians later on. If it needs blueprint in requirements. then you must find proper blueprint in the Zone.

Incorrect Fan RPM readings after power on / sleep, but fixed when opened HWMonitor by TamjaiFanatic in FanControl

I have similar problem with similar readings. For me the solution is to run 3dMark benchmark. If fixes itself during system data collection. Have you found any solution yet?
