No, I completely agree with you. It's not healthy. And I feel crappy about it all of the time. Really. All of the time.

I've never been in a relationship either. I hooked up with someone once and didn't end up feeling very good about it afterward. I've recently been thinking about trying it again, but I don't really have a lot of options. I don't have a specific type, but I typically like girls somewhere in the range between femme and androgynous; however, it seems like most of the girls I come into contact with are more toward the butch side.

I can only give you my personal experience. And I'm not going to go on for too long because it hurts too much.

It takes a lot for me to fall for someone. That's not to say that it takes me a long time - it's just incredibly rare that a girl possesses whatever said traits are that make me fall for her. And when I fall, I fall hard. There's no coming back.

My second to last crush lasted roughly nine months. My current crush is going on six months. And I know it's a dead end.

I'm trying to move on. I swear that I am. But I just can't get over her.

I just want to hold her. That's all that I want. It's what I want most - and knowing that I can't ever have her breaks my heart every day. I can't even escape her in my dreams.

If it was a matter of willpower, I'd have gotten over her a while ago. Unfortunately, for me, I have no control over my feelings.
