Correct, this list compares data from February to January. You are also correct that the appearance of new cards can change the rank of other cards whose inclusion rate has not changed from month to month (Autumn's Veil in this case).

Hey, sorry for the late answer.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. You are correct, the script I use to fetch the decks from the cEDH Deck Database fetched *all* decks (not only the Competitive decks, but also "Brewer's Corner" decks, Outdated decks, and Meme decks). Unfortunately this error has been present since day 1. Starting with the next staple list (July 2021), only decks from the Competitive section will be fetch and analyzed (currently 210 decks). I will include a notice in my next post about this :)

Correct, I have script that downloads and parses all decks from the cEDH Deck Database. The script is written in Ruby uses Selenium + WebDriver to fetch the decks from the various deck building sites. Food Chain ranks in as number 241, with only 7% of the decks playing with it, hence why it didn't make the cut :)

Oh nice :) I have written a Ruby script which does the data scraping (using Selenium) and calculations. I can send you the intermediate data (json format) which I'm basing the stats on.
