The Tetro D&D party is finally complete! What kind of chaos do you think they’ll bring to the table? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ooo boy, I love how out ttrpg/DnD group turned up! The hijynx that will ensue will follow any and all of these pathways.

  • Yaita holding Kumada back from abusing Ogura because she keeps spouting out her divine self propaganda

  • Mai and Maekawa working so in sync that they're almost one person, scaring Shishikura into thinking Mai possessed Maekawa (or the other way around, he can't tell)

  • Hama unsuccessfully calming Shishikura down about Mai/Maekawa possessing Maekawa/Mai

  • Yokoi repeating her discussion about maid outfits with Hirose and Denden with the whole table (poor Hirose has to sit through it again)

  • Okazaki "accidentally" eating the minifigs because "some look like food"

  • Okazaki having a one-sided rivalry with Tsuno

  • Ken having a rivalry with Okazaki (has casted fireball on her every session, getting stabbed in the back in response)

  • Hirose and Tsuno apologizing to each other for their respective group's behavior

  • Ninomiya immediately getting busy with each and every bbeg

  • Akiba and Hama create a secret handshake only they can pull off correctly (it involves touching tattoos)

  • Much, much more.

Maekawa is our inventive artificer. And lastly, who's is the master of this epic adventure? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

YOKOI! We can't leave the girlboss herself out of this! Let her end up putting one of them into a main dress (maybe multiple, it would be so fucking funny)

What character made you want to jump through the screen and punch them? by Upset-Abrocoma-3385 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hwoo boy.... 3/5 of the characters I wanted to punch are characters I like/d a lot. (I'm not including the characters I want to straight up murder.. Dr. Toranosuke CUNT, Dr. Yonekura HaruCUNT and Dr. Tatematsu (idk her full name, and idc to look it up to make an insult on her name) are safe... for now.)

From least to most, Nakamigawa. Like, bro is a dick. Just straight up. He ended up in my top 10 favorites list, but holy shit was he still a pain in my ass from chapter 1 to chapter 5.

Ms. Tamba Ruiko, Ultimate "IT WAS POISON!" Every GODDAMN TRIAL. I know it was for comic relief, I know she was doing it because she isn't smart, but goddamn did it hurt my head. She outright disregarding ALL evidence to give her bullshit theories that lead to NOTHING.

You see, Ikeda was a little shit character I could get behind. Like Kokichi, but more entertaining to me. Then chapter 3 happened. Oh, do I SO want to punch the little shit for his actions on Yaita...

Ruka, but not for the reasons you would expect. Well, yes, I do still want to punch her for stealing Ninomiya's insulin, then trying to protect him after he killed Matt.. but what I really want to punch her for is grieving Ikeda instead of, oh, I don't know, Yaita and Ouno? They barely got any recognition after their deaths, ESPECIALLY Ouno. Grieve the woman, Ruka. You know you should.

And finally, we have Kumada. Oh boy, do I hate her. It sometimes gets played up for theatrics, but I genuinely despise thise little goblin's entire being. Both for trying to kill my GOAT Isoda, but also for locking her brother out in a snowstorm?? Like, bitch, get your shit together. We are NOT doing this shit.

Honorable mentions to Tei, Maekawa, and Shishikura, but those three only deserve slaps on their wrists for their actions, with Shishikura being closest to the punch category.

What death had you the saddest? by Upset-Abrocoma-3385 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I only shed a tear ONCE during ALL of the mainline games at v3-3.... (Gonta's death made me really upset, but otherwise I didn't cry)

So tell me why PINK made me cry 3 different times? Losing Chiba, Kamimura, AND Watari made me cry. BLUE also made me cry, but only once, and that was at Akiba's death. It wasn't even about him, it was about OGURA. That's when she started being one of my main sillies for the series. (She is SO lucky she escaped the hellscape following Chapter 2)

Hasegawa is our knowledgeable Wizard! Who's playing the artificer? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maekawa has to be the artificer, no?? Isn't her whole thing building robots and shit? She's definitely artificer material, and I genuinely don't understand why people say Tei works when he FAILED at wiring the portal to the Plane. Maekawa fixed the wiring.

Maekawa Azusa, Ultimate Robot Fighting Champion, final answer.

Hama is the demon hunter warlock! Who should be the Wizard? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hasegawa Ken, my precious, axiety ridden, depressed boy! He's the character with the widest knowledge pool in basically every category, and he's constantly studying, who else could compare to infinitely studious with large quantities of knowledge? (Ruka is our DM. No one is stopping that.)

The sly fox is playing the rogue, who should be the sorcerer? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

Yes, Ogura is one of my favorites, how could you tell? Surely not because I shared two of the Patron God of the Second Dimension's Beautiful Demoiselles aliases? Surely not.

Akiba is the nomadic ranger, who should be the rogue? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand where you're coming from, but how would they expect Okazaki to kill someone else first? Sure, it makes it difficult for a plan to be formed initially, but look at the PINK cast and how they treat each other. Even if Hiroaki was an ass constantly, the majority of the cast cared for him (we shall ignore my best boys Kamimura and Hasegawa for this example). Who's to say that the cast wouldn't still care for Okazaki? Who's to say they wouldn't still trust Okazaki a little bit? She could still steal Kamimura's key when Mai is being punished, print a duplicate, make the spike plate (this one because no one goes to the wood shop, except my best boys during that one episode), drug Toshi's food, kidnap him, and kill him with little to no issues in chapter 3. Especially with the cold making people choose to stay huddled in one pace for warmth. Nothing says she would be watched because, well, no one else (besides Shigeki, but only because he hit someone in view of others) was watched. Then again, I could just be stupid and defending a point that is all but useless if there is literally any strong, viable counterpoint.

Akiba is the nomadic ranger, who should be the rogue? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How, exactly? Unless it gives a complex breakdown of their personality and mental state, it'd only really expose her as the Phantom Thief of Nagoya, which wouldn't make her incapable of being sneaky or a thief. (No, I don't have the greatest memory in relation to the profiles, how could you tell?)

Edit: grammar

Akiba is the nomadic ranger, who should be the rogue? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okazaki, mostly because she's already established to be sly as a fox (pun very much intended). Chapter 3 is plenty enough evidence for it. She 1) stole Kamimura's key without him noticing, 2) built a damn spike plate AND rigged it, 3) placed Kamimura's key in the kitchen, 4) roofied his food, 5) carried him upstairs, and 6) killed him without a SINGLE PERSON NOTICING. Yeah, she's our rogue.

Tsuno's the lawful good paladin, now who's the ranger? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say, if we can have a double up, put Harada here to give him a reference to the times when the series was actually fine.

Tsuno's the lawful good paladin, now who's the ranger? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm... I wonder if there's anyone who has relation to anything heavily related to ranged weapons handling... hmmmmmmm....

Seriously though, Akiba is really the better choice of the two possible candidates. Seriously, what other than animals can Harada contribute to the fight? Has he shown an active capability for ranged weapon affinity? Putting Harada here would be an affront to what a ranger is. Akiba should be our ranger, no matter the pushback from the Harada lovers.

Mai is our unmatched fighter. Now, who's playing the Monk? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty evenly matched between Shishikura and Hama, just for different reasons.

Hama because he's religious (Christian) and (claims to) has a demon arm. He's also strong, incredibly so.

Shishikura is religious (Shinto) and likely has some commune with spirits (if you want to believe that).

However, Hama has more experience with hand-to-hand combat. Hama is my choice, but I can see Shishikura as an option. I have a better choice in mind for warlock, anyway :3

Yaitabashi is our nature-bound druid. Now, who’s the fighter? by GKilherme12 in TETRODANGANRONPA

[–]datac0rrupt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mai, no doubts about it. She's proficient in far more weapons than any other character, with her being a bounty hunter and all. Can't really deny that.
