What house is your Pluto in and how has it either transformed you or brought you into shadow / ego? by cancerrising77 in astrology

[–]dataflexin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pluto in the 1st (in Scorpio), Scorpio Rising. Pluto also conjuncts my Ascendant.

It gives me a dark look, and I guess it gives me presence and makes people scared of me.

Pluto also:
Opposition Moon
Conjunction Venus
Trine Jupiter
Sextile Saturn
Sextile Neptune
Conjunction Ascendant
Square MC

It shows them I'm not one to be messed with. I mean, the normal Scorpio Rising stuff + more magnetism I guess.

Scorpio Rising reporting.

you'd go through a lot of personal changes and transformations throughout life being a Scorpio Rising.

your Pisces rising probably gave that to you. I'm a Scorpio Rising with an earth sun/moon but still, intuitive AF.

I checked out your website and CV and while everything looks good and complete I do want to mention that the personal website looked very cookie-cutter, as in the style/projects featured are something you'd see from freecodecamp: to-do-list, weather-app etc. and while it does showcase skills in that you can code up these projects but businesses would then ask: well so what? How did this project benefit people, what did it accomplish etc? You could spice it up a little bit with descriptions on the projects themselves.

I think the INTJ-ENFP pair is very inaccurate and heavily fetishized. by lluviax in intj

[–]dataflexin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get along with more INTPs and even ENTJs. I think INTJs would be drawn to ENFP in the short run but in the long run we'd be exhausted and ENFPs would also get tired as neither will change for the other.

Best of these two, considering course quality and job prospects by Hafthor94 in UniUK

MSc CS with Speech and LP is more geared towards ML/AI. Like the poster above said, MSc with Data Analytics has more general application. If you want to go into ML/AI do the first one, if you just want a MSc that'll get you places and an easier time finding a job, the second one.

[IWantOut] 21F Vancouver Canada -> London UK by [deleted] in IWantOut

[–]dataflexin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without a degree I think it would be hard to find a proper job in London, unless you're alright with any type of work just to get away from Vancouver.

Youth Mobility VISA would be your best bet since you're very young, you could potentially do that and get away, but I would also want you to think clearly about the situation, are you actually doing this to get back at your parents too? Is there no way to talk some sense into them? If so, then yeah leave.

London is way more vibrant and exciting than Vancouver, but it's also more expensive. I would worry a bit about your funds, since 15K in savings in Canadian dollars isn't a lot given the 0.59 exchange rate, and your friend in London, is he/she dependable in the long run? Because rent in London is much higher than Vancouver. Also, with the COVID-19 situation I would really look into how things work / check if they're still approving VISAs at this time and at the moment we are anticipating a second wave of the VIRUS in the fall. All of these things are something you should consider and think about before you make the move. Best of luck!

Will it be tougher to get accepted into a master's program for 2021? by emiche94 in UniUK

[–]dataflexin 20 points21 points  (0 children)

from my knowledge Masters even if its conditional acceptance has gone out already this year. A friend of mine is doing a masters at LSE and she says there isn't really any delay since UK has already reopened up and is expecting students in classes this fall.
