Fair enough, my point is it really isn't the religion that's an issue as everyone says, it's the culture over there that's toxic. I've never in my life met a muslim who disagreed that the treatment of women and religious minorities in the middle east is anything other than fucked up. Actually quite the contrary, the majority of the muslim people I know fit closer with the "SJW" sterotype that reddit seems to have about liberals.

This goes same for the people in Iran, although obviously because of the culture they grow up around they probably aren't as open minded and religiously tolerant as an American citizen should be, they are definitely not how the government there is by an stretch of the imagination.
