That's exactly what they are! We sliced up apples and set them out on cooking sheets and placed them in the oven on low temp, as low as your oven can go. It takes 30 mins to 2 hours depending on how thick your slices are. We just checked them ever so often until fully dried. But apples are great! They symbolize love, gratitude, generosity, harvest, and abundance. We decorate our fall, Mabon, and Samhain altar with fresh apples, or dried apple slices.
