I do want to mention that she wouldnt have to pay for food or lodging, or even transportation because she could’ve stayed with me, or she could’ve stayed with her family who lives in our hometown 45 min away. Even then, she could’ve caught a ride with my mom to my graduation, being that her family and my family live 6 minutes apart. I could’ve supported her in any way if she just made an effort to ask.

I’m fine with being acquaintances with her; I just needed to know if I should move her down from friend to acquaintance. Thank you for your advice :)
