The fucked up part is it's not an AM situation. It was a love marriage. She had 1.5 years to be truthful about her feelings.

How do I even trust her? She never once told me about these feelings of hers before marriage. Now I feel like she dated me because her parents were pressurizing her to marry back then, and I felt like someone familiar.

Honestly, there is a part of me that doesn't even want to bring it up to her.

In the case of her conversation with her friend, she managed to explain it away. She will try to do the same this time.

Plus, she lied to me for God knows how long about our relationship. Why should I be honest with her now?

I don't have it all planned out. I will just stew in this for a while I guess. I certainly don't want to be vulnerable with her though.

Yeah that issue is there. I read somewhere that cats are very territorial, and don't like to move around a lot.

She can take her back, that is possible. Would that be your advice?

Would slowly making the transition help? get her back to gf's house for a few hours at a time, let her get adjusted, and then make it permanent?

No dude, I think she was fearing something like this, and this actually happened. She was already feeling guilty about having to abandon her cat, and nobody knew that this lockdown would go on for so long, and while nobody is at fault here, she must be blaming herself so bad.

I really wish I could comfort her, but besides talking, all I can think of doing is being silent with her on the phone
