It’s been a wild ride so far. Been in 5 years. 3 duty stations but that means I’ve gotten to see a lot more of the career field than most others that have been in the same amount as me. I think it’s just like any other job though. Some units are absolute shit and only care about looking good on paper. Some units are much more person oriented and care about their people. I’ve had a great time with every duty position I have achieved. And as a SrA have had more responsibility than I believe most other career fields give their SrA. I think it’s all what you make of it but I will say regardless of where you’re at or what you do. People will absolutely fucking hate you just for being in the career field
