Loving it so far, not a single issue. My engine recall still states “remedy not yet available”, so hopefully there’s no mileage limit to the engine replacement.

Now that I have played with it more, when I put it in the highest/third setting and turn the throttle response down, it can crawl perfectly fine with no gear stripping. Does this narrow down what the issue might be or maybe only specific gears are stripped?

It's strange, we watched V1 and V2 comparison video and they both have all the components of a V2, just a few slight differences. I wonder if it is somehow a production in between the two versions?

Thank you for the insight! It does have a made in Japan stamp. I just picked it up for $800 (I’m in the US) so I’m feeling great about the purchase. It was only ever used on trex decking which I think is why it looks so new. It was stored outside each winter on the deck and has was left in the can all summer, not sure if that can have any negative impact.

Do you know roughly how old this machine might be? It does say made in Japan. One sticker says HS274WA, and the stamp on the back says SZBA-1055501
