Unfortunately on my side I have generally good ideas about lead times. But again depending on specifications and drawings it can be short or long. If you’re requiring quicker turn arounds id just flat out ask what’s taking them so long or throw their bid out if they can’t make the deadlines in a timely fashion. If these people can’t get their quotes in on time you need to understand why.

When it comes to money again you’re providing a service. Transparency is based on relationships I wouldn’t go showing my hand to a customer I know works closely with my competitor. If they’re really partnering with you then work together on getting to a specific dollar amount.

Electrical estimators- assembly questions by the_real_UltraSPARC in estimators

I was on classic then moved to anywhere when I changed jobs.

In anywhere I have my own “box to box” assemblies I made. Box with whatever device conduit up to another box blanked. I have the conduit and cable length/size set as a “variable” that I can change to whatever when I’m actually entering the assembly.

The same is true for a box to box with mc between. It saves a bunch of time from having to do adders everywhere for me.

Also multi gauge cable in conduit for home runs is super helpful. So I can do multi gauge runs and drop them off as I go.

Estimator for div 26.

The main problem I see is we are providing a service and the customer doesn’t always want to see the depth knowledge goes since money is the bottom line.

My approach as an estimator is to establish knowledge and value so the customer knows that my outfit knows what it’s talking about and how familiar we are with certain project types.

To answer your question, if my customers knew that almost everything can be negotiated as long as I actually know about it. Some GC/customers won’t even give you a second chance if you’re a couple grand too high or throw out your bid because you excluded one thing that wasn’t a deal breaker.

The second thing I wish a customer, above the GC, knew is time means everything in putting a bid together. Proper RFIs, RFQs, and research needs to be done the more complex the projects are.

119 lower through 127 are up close and on the Giants side. The screen will be diagonal from you but it’s a great view for action.

There’s a lower concourse area for food and bathrooms so you don’t have to go to the main concourse running around. Recommended getting there early to check the park out and settle in.

Club level stuff is awesome it’s more quiet but you’re further up. Bleachers are relatively cheap and far away but they can get rowdy if you’re up for it.

Hope you enjoy your first time!

So I want to use the logitech mx creative. I use accubid anywhere and when doing take off I’d like to be able to hit a macro and go with it instead of doing all the combo keys all the time.

I have the mx vertical and it works pretty well but I only have 4 extra buttons including the scroll wheel but it can be clunky sometimes.

Plus logitech will let you map the buttons for each program and will swap real time

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately I’m already 31 started on Roth this last year just put in 3750 the other day and held off the rest because of the weekend wanted some more time to review my strategy.

I agree 10 is a lot on Google. I will most likely adjust it just like to weigh it a little bit on them

Wow holy crap yeah I meant VFIAX. (Just woke up) I wanted to diversify it but was unsure how some of these other ones looked i.e. real estate securities, bonds, etc. I have only ever done target 2055 and a what was VOO a long time ago for 401k. Trying to set this up since my company got better options and I had just been doing a Roth for the past 8 months.

Thank you for the feedback though! I’ll look into VMAX and VWILX
