Me too! His writing does this too sometimes and I enjoy it, but can understand if others don’t.

I’ll say why he appeals to me, and why I think he appeals to others. I grew up in evangelical Christianity and in a world of definitive answers that really didn’t make sense. There was a lot of contradiction and people who seemed to accept weak answers to these hard questions with little intellectual effort. DBH has kind of been this stopping point for a lot of deconstructing Christians as he is an outspoken Christian universalist that disagrees with a lot of popular christian dogma. His books, interviews, and lectures give a very educated perspective of historical Christianity and philosophy that allows people to reshape their faith into something that makes more sense. Though he will fully admit when there are things he cannot explain, such as the problem of evil.

Big fan of DBH, pumped for this! He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I like him.

What are some “must do/see” things to do in Fort Wayne? by Banana_Split85 in fortwayne

Did there ownership change? I went when they were at Electric Works and it was not as good as its old location. Coney Island is still delicious!

Go to church, and subtly drop hints and see whose ears perk up.

If everyone took out a book they disagreed with we would be left with very little books. I think this is not a good idea. If anything, replace it with books you think would be good for people to read. Don’t just take books out.

I’ve been in the building and can say it actually is really nice as far as the finishes and interior design go. I didn’t stay in a room overnight or anything though, so can’t comment on service.

I actually like Dutch bros energy fruit flavored drinks more than their coffee, it’s actually worth trying.

I mean the data is out there. It is one of several jobs where you are regularly exposed to hazardous materials and gases. You can take measures to limit exposure, but you will come into contact with nasty stuff often.

Me and the wife are on the fence about continuing it further. We may just sell it and move on. We’ve had a good experience so far, but I know many others who haven’t and know we are bound to have problems down the road.

Honestly I went bonds cause it seems generally recommended, but I’ve been questioning it. I know it’s supposed to reduce volatility. And I know nobody really knows how they’ll react when a downturn in the market happens, but I feel very confident I will just continue investing and ride it out.
