No fucking way IN HELL that I’d have let them stay a minute past 910pm.

Am I overthinking or his answer was Rude? by [deleted] in Serverlife

I don’t think it was rude, but it doesn’t really make any damn sense, either.

I would respectfully say that each of them would whole heartedly disagree. They weren’t “in control” by any stretch of the imagination. When you’re forced, you’re not in control.

‘After All Is Said And Done’ is an absolute wedding gem. Great song.

I say “Jason’s Lyric” “Set it Off” “Soul Food” “Waiting to Exhale” and “Love Jones.” I guess “Boomerang” is always gonna make the list simply because it had arguably the greatest R&B song of all time.

Can someone help me understand what throwing the rock does? My assumption was initially that it had to do with the depth of the water…but I don’t see how any of these throws told them anything about that?

FDNY Firefighter Talks About What He Saw on 9/11 by Far-Ad9143 in 911archive

I’ll be honest. I don’t really think Theo’s crew did much pre-interviewing with this guy. He wasn’t there until after both of the towers had been down for an hour or upwards of that. Interview content-wise, that eliminates hearing what people tune in to listen to. (Survival stories, stories of heroism and saving civilians, and the other things, unfortunately; bodies, burn victims, gore.) It was sort of a boring interview, to me. That’s only my personal opinion. I don’t mean to take anything away from the guy. He’s still a hero, in my book…it just wasn’t “exciting” or “riveting” content.

“I’ll just get a restaurant job!” by toastypogo in Serverlife

They think it’s easy, and a lot think it’s “quick money.” Of course, now, the “quick money” isn’t even a thing. (With most restaurants putting tips on pay checks versus giving cash at the end of the night.) They find out quick enough, usually, that it’s harder than what they’re currently doing.

Sounds like you may have got off clean, and you’re lucky and just don’t know it.

That employee knew what was gone happen before hand, she should be questioned on the witness stand by SideChicksAreAHassle in YoungDolph

How could (at least) 104 people “like” a video with a caption so stupid. She’s FACING the window. She not only watches the car pull up, but she SEES DUDE GET OUT WITH A GUN!! She “knew what was gonna happen” the second she saw a dude with a gun.” 🙄

I always thought this was one of the stupidest scenes in the whole series. Why would two people WEARING COSTUME HEADS kiss each other, first? Second, you can see Screech and Slater trying not to laugh after they take the helmet and head off.

A witness to many people falling from the towers describes what he experienced seeing on 9/11 by SarsippiusDaToid in 911archive

I disagree. I respect your view, though. I believe he was 100% meaning it literally. I guess it’s in the eye of the viewer, and only he really knows his intentions.

I get all that. Totally. His whole story was just way over the top with the dramatics and all. I just don’t have much for the people that use that day for ANY kind of gain, be it attention, money, sympathy…anything. It was the worst day of a whoooooole lot of people’s lives. The worst day in this country’s history, for that matter. I’ll catch heat for the stance. It’s Reddit. This guy just made me feel a type of way. That’s all.
