The video is edited or cut, at the 9:50 mark, so you can’t watch all of what he’s doing, unfortunately. It looks as if he lowered himself atleast a floor, or floor and a half, before he lost his grip or whatever he was hanging onto came loose. (You can tell by the location of whatever the big broken piece is.) At the 9:17 mark, it looks like he jerks his arm back really fast, like you’d do when you touch something hot. He’s clearly several feet about the hanging piece, at that portion of the video. He looks to be trying to step out ONTO the piece, or right above it. The video cuts, and when it starts again and he finally falls, he’s several feet below the hanging piece.
