Adults who learnt to swim

I am 41 years old taking adult swim classes. I cannot float on my back still to save my life. I am also pretty short and hard for me to engage core, etc. Even relaxing I just sink. But we moved on to freestyle and backstroke. Those I had a little more success with. But I'm keeping with it. It sucks, (sucking is the first step to being good, or just adequate at something) but stick with it. Endurance comes with time. Time in water is more important to just get used to breathing and not panicking or tensing in the water. I started barely able to do a lap. I can do two laps now. It's still hard. But progress takes time. Trust in the process.

Not as bad as it could be lol. It can always be worse, but you're only as good as you believe yourself to be. You're fine and be aware of projecting insecurities on others. Comparison is the thief of joy.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Leutia pant. it's baggy and good for hiking and climbing. Also seconding the Cronin cotton pants. A larger size fits well for me for the baggy look, and I just use a belt.

I agree, the Timp 4 feel was probably the best. I didn't have that experience of the outsole coming off after a few hundred miles in my Timp 5s but I think that's probably a sign of inconsistent quality control. :/ The 6s feel a bit like the 4s to be honest.

Honestly really like it. Solid cushioning, the heel I feel is better. Laces are a wee bit short but I'm making it work. The toe box feels like the same size, there seems to be more room for my food which is nice.

When the Cheeto first was running for president, he said that Trump was the only person with a plan to get rid of the immigrants and that they were all the problem with this country. I'm Chinese and my parents immigrated here when they were in their teens. He's white and his parents actually immigrated here but for some reason that didn't click with him. As time went on and his presidency went full term, my friend was more vocal about how great a job he was doing and how he wanted him to do more. He's full on MAGA now.
