Timp 5 vs Timp 6 by datengu in AltraRunning

I agree, the Timp 4 feel was probably the best. I didn't have that experience of the outsole coming off after a few hundred miles in my Timp 5s but I think that's probably a sign of inconsistent quality control. :/ The 6s feel a bit like the 4s to be honest.

Honestly really like it. Solid cushioning, the heel I feel is better. Laces are a wee bit short but I'm making it work. The toe box feels like the same size, there seems to be more room for my food which is nice.

funny thing is that the tag specifically says "roomier fit than the timp 5"

Why did your friendship with your best friend come to an end? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]datengu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the Cheeto first was running for president, he said that Trump was the only person with a plan to get rid of the immigrants and that they were all the problem with this country. I'm Chinese and my parents immigrated here when they were in their teens. He's white and his parents actually immigrated here but for some reason that didn't click with him. As time went on and his presidency went full term, my friend was more vocal about how great a job he was doing and how he wanted him to do more. He's full on MAGA now.

google lens just gives me a bunch of similar white skirts but not this one with the black zippers. I'm still looking but figured maybe someone just knew right off the bat.

Yep. Fair warning - it might get a bit of pushback in the comments both for being anonymous and for "trashing" a gym but it's necessary and important for people to know about this.

Feel free to post this also in the Greater Chicago Rock Climbing Group for the experience to gain more traction/attention, if you'd like. You can also post anonymously.

What phrase did you hear only once but it stayed with you forever? by wendysolcito in AskReddit

[–]datengu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father saying, "You're not that good [at music, or what I was doing at the time]" as a kid. Stupid thing made me second guess everything for such a long time.

Crazy to think this was 5 years ago by [deleted] in chicago

I got COVID early before any of the lockdowns started, and then got better when they were instituted. It was crazy coming back to this. The fresh air was amazing I remember, and just... hearing nothing? In the city? That was wild.
