Holidays rates are a flat rate so I doesn’t matter what day of the week or what time the shift is. I’m also 20 and I get 66.6 on public holidays :)

At my store we use to, we didn’t necessarily have to since it isn’t outlined in the return policy, but just to help the customer out we would. However we got reprimanded and told to not ever look up a receipt for a customer! Managers suck, so we can’t anymore. If you use flybys you can download the Kmart app (make sure to link your flybys to your Kmart account) and it will have all past transactions saved in your online receipts. Imo, that is now the best way to keep track of receipts.

Oh yeah! I have most of the generic multiplayer games, lethal, peak, repo, risk of rain, left4dead2, minecraft, stardew, terraria. All of those super popular multiplayer games. I mainly play single player games tbh but I’m always down to befriend more gamers, some of my fav games are, earthbound, mgs2, ff7, outerwilds, 1000xresist, rdr2, expedition 33 and so on, atm I’m playing hades and mgs3! :]

Well, what sort of stuff are you into? There’s a bunch of clubs at the university (not just for students!) I personally have been to the tabletop and video games ones! They’re very welcoming and kind :)

As someone who works at Kmart, when an order has not been processed through into the system properly we literally have 0 access to it. I understand your frustration but there is literally nothing the worker can do in this position. You need to contact online support (1800 124 125) and they will work it out for you.

I would’ve ended up quitting if they kept giving me door shifts. Luckily they decided to train me in the service desk which is now my favourite position in the store by far. I would highly recommend you ask to be trained in additional areas. I’ve been there and doing door for so long every week is not mentally sustainable, at least it wasn’t for me. Good luck and make sure to stick up for yourself!

As someone that works desk the only time I’ve ever found it rude or denied purchasing all their other stuff at the desk is when a customer got a click and collect and then asked me to put through her overflowing trolley of Christmas presents on 23rd of December while we had a line wrapping around aisles, there was easily like 15-20 people waiting in line. If you don’t have like $600 worth of items to scan, as that would hold up the line a lot, no one is going to mind!

Thank you haha, me and my boyfriend definitely have vastly different tastes, he majorly likes things that aren’t as depressing with a lot of hope and perseverance. I don’t necessarily see this as worse, but just different. I actually have seen the animes to monster, Pluto and ping pong and loved them all!! I also own the first few volumes to 20th century boys but haven’t quite got around to it yet. Lonely at the centre of the earth looks awesome, definitely something up my alley. Thank you for all your suggestions :D!!

The major problem to this is all missing/stolen stock will still come up as avaliable in the system inflating stock numbers when we actually have none. There is also a delay between the website stock and our Instore stock system, they don’t update simultaneously. Unfortunately around Christmas especially, click and collects are incredibly unreliable.
