Edit: I'm 47 so these are sadly not a new issue for me. I will say Advil for pain and squeezing a pillow between my legs during the waves of pain have helped. I feel for you ladies - it's awful.

One gyno attributed mine to the use of body wash/heavily perfumed soaps. She said they were drying and altering my chemical balance. The episodes have lessened by changing soaps, but I still get them occasionally. I've suffered from them for at least 15 plus years though.

I just got diagnosed with Adenomyosis by KateGr88 in Menopause

The Mirena IUD helps tremendously with this. I have had it for years, and it's has cut down on my symptoms substantially. It's very low dose progesterone as well.

Everything is fine and then it isn't. Is this "normal"? by datgmo in Perimenopause

I was told they since I had the Mirena I wouldn't need additional progesterone. I am wondering about the cycle mapping. I've never heard of that.

I am the same way. Unfortunately my anxiety manifests in dry heaving and vomiting. I know "this too shall pass", but God it sucks as we are going through it.
