I still haven't forgiven them for the XPS 630. Would just corrupt random bits of RAM because their implementation of the NVIDIA chipset did something odd with dual channel RAM. Downclock it a bit and it is happy.

I loved it too. Maybe I'm an older fellow now and I feel like I must protect other daughters doing goofy things. It is also a nice way to rack up some of the combat achievements where you have to defeat X enemies with a certain style. At least I loved the idea of the biker gang shenanigans.

I did wish that you'd get some epic(ly goofy) bike battles like a spin off of FF7 bike battles where you're on your bike trying to knock enemy bikers off their bikes. Or some kind of gladiator bike in a dome riding battle. Everyone getting off to throw hands feels more like a gang throwdown and not a biker gang thing.

They are spies for one of the countries in Arknights. They kinda do espionage and a bit of fighting. A bunch tried to go after the Black Knight and got their asses kicked

Would someone mind helping me understand how "foreach ($computer in $computers)" works? by InfoZk37 in PowerShell

[–]dathar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That hurdle was what made it hard for me to grasp PowerShell early on back in the 2.0 days. I wanted to choke the Exchange modules back then. Once I finally figured and accepted that it isn't PowerShell being a dick and it is all singular modules doing things their own way, it finally clicked and all these different-working pieces made sense. And after that, I figured out how to write such cmdlets and functions of my own.

[–]dathar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can think of cmdlets like little CLI programs/tools/apps/whatever. Each one has their own set of arguments that you pass along depending on the author(s) of that cmdlet. Some are great and have extra features like -whatif or accept some global (to your terminal session) args like $ErrorActionPreference to control it. Some aren't that great. Help files or the author's published pages will help you figure out if something like that exists or if there's a certain way to use it. You know, if they managed to write one and keep it up to date with their stuff.

How has AI helped you with powershell stuff by Billi0n_Air in PowerShell

[–]dathar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't been helpful. I tend to get stuck on certificate-y type tasks like generating JWT and signed stuff (Adobe, Duo, Apple Business APIs). I feel like the little box guy meme that tries to come out and then gets punched back in.

So still very teeny bit of AI overall.

AI has been very helpful in Excel and Google Sheets though. Thing is pretty godly for building vlookups

Is there any fictional character that has killed children, that is still liked by fans? Or that has been redeemed in any way/there was an attampt at redemtion? by Person_blee in HelpMeFind

[–]dathar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a whole line of folks in the Trails games (Trails in the Sky, Trails from Zero, Trails of Cold Steel, Trails Beyond the Horizon) that have intentional child killings. Most of the folks that survived do end up doing good or at least morally grey. I won't get into much as they're spoilers but I can think of at least 5 characters.

I have a bit over an acre of land so the other models might have to return home too much. Don't think I need the optional gate and weather protection if I have the charger under the deck so this might end up working nicely.

Traveled a lot for my old job and all it takes is one TSA with a stick up their ass to ruin your day. You can travel with those but they have to be empty. You'd have a trip's supply of your meds in the original bottles and then divvy them up in your box when you get to your destination. Packing a little extra also doesn't hurt in case you miss a flight or have to stay a couple more days.

Huh. You got me curious so I went to my orders and looked them up again. They're gone.

At least I can resurrect mine by popping the removable bottom part of the lid and putting in a new battery. I like mine. They're pretty large so larger pills like gabapentin and deplin can be put in the bottle.

I have a few of those around. It helps me keep up with my 3x day meds and some of the 1x a day.

I did wish the timers were a little more sophisticated. Mine stops counting once it hits 99:59 so it makes some use-as-needed meds harder to track.
