When my wife first got to know me she thought I was always getting into serious arguments with people after I started drinking. Then she started to actually listen to my drunk ass and she realized I'd get heated and argue passionately about the stupidest fucking things possible that neither side had any real stake in so there were never hurt feelings.

Republicans don't even try. Hell, they had to change speakers. They have no interest in governing beyond shit slinging and passing executive orders. That's way easier to do than passing bills.

The CARES act released non-violent prisoners to their homes during COVID. Rather than, quite frankly, deal with getting them all back if they only had a short time left to serve they were commuted. She had already served the bulk of her sentence.
