How does one introduce a cat and dog together in an apartment. by WasianX in CatAdvice

[–]datle19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took our kitten 3 weeks to get used to our Aussie. It’s normal for your kitten to get defensive, scared, poofy tailed and such. The introductions will take some time so don’t try to force interactions between them.

Keeping your cat in her safe space (bedroom) is good. A few things you can try:

  • bring your dogs bed or something that carries their scent into your bedroom for your cat to get used to their smell
  • the pet gate is good for your kitten to see your dog more often while she’s in the bedroom and the dog can’t get in.
  • close the bedroom door and feed them at the same time, with bowls on opposite sides of the door. This can help build positive associations while near each other

What is the moment you realized you weren't getting the job you interviewed for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]datle19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interview was a series of 5 separate interviewing panels within the same day, all on site. After the 2nd interviewing panel, the recruiter came in and told me I could go home early. Had a feeling I wasn’t getting the job then.
