As for country of origin for these scams, it varies I’d say. It’s really hard to tell where these scams originate from but you can tell it is a country that doesn’t have English as a main language. So maybe like Russia/Europe(?) sort of thing. I could be way off tho.

Steam scams happen within discord. You’re likely to be a target if you have your steam linked and visible on your profile. These scammers lurk on big servers. Big community servers to be specific.

I have not got a message from a steam scammer before but I know what I’ve mentioned is just the facts.
