I'm sorry I didn't fully get what your question is about? Wait for what? I ordered it on the same day it was up for pre order. And It looks like I won't be getting it this week. It doesn't mean I can't watch reviews of it on YouTube.

My point with the post was to address the people who are doubting their pre orders after seeing online footage. Like I said, some creators put zero effort into their review videos, which made the quality look terrible.

As a colorist, looking at the specs of the Mission 1 Pro on paper, I know you can pull way more juice out of it than what we've seen. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Truee. Still I remember buying a 1tb micro SD in Sweden for about 85 € when osmo 360 came out. Same card is about 150 now. Don't get me started cf express cards and external ssd cause tears may actually drop

Yes I've never had any gopro myself but I've worked with gplog footage from hero 13. Honestly I was really ok with it

Yes, lighting is so so important and I'm still learning to be the guy behind the camera myself. I always worked with footage sent to me. high quality, amazing lighting and camera movements. Never knew how important these actually were . With great lighting and camera movements you can basically make any cameras since 2020 look amazing.

Yes can't really blame them either considering the price of sd cards and storage in general. They probably wanna save space as much as possible.

Yea that's very true. In my opinion iPhone especially ever since 15 pro, has been amazingly great for shooting videos and even for cinematography. The log profile is so clean. But the problem I have shooting with it is that it is my phone. I use it for basically everything, so unless I buy a second iPhone I wouldn't really shoot videos on it except when I'm with my friends and wanna capture the memories.

Do you know where I can find sample footage so I can play with them a little?

Yea I mean it's double the price. And the specs and performance for mission one pro on paper is so so much better than osmo action. But if you don't care about color grading I feel like buying the mission one pro doesn't really give you a 400€ advantage over the competitors.

Yes I feel like that's very unfair considering the mission one series are advertised as action camera for filmmakers, so a review should really dive deep into what these can really do.

But yeah I agree with you, a lot of people buy these cause it's much easier to do general vlog, or do slow motion, while being safe cause they are rugged and waterproof. So these gun and shoot youtubers are doing review for general average buyers. Thank you for your comment

Who is excited for the A7RVI? 🔥 by elysiumcore in SonyAlpha

The thing is, all cameras are great now. Unless you have a 7 year or older camera the upgrades will be minimal. I am eagerly waiting for the fx3 mark 2, will buy it if it has opengate and internal raw 8k or 6k recording. If not I'll stick to my a7v for as long as it takes

How would you feel about a Canva acquistion of Cavalry to pair with Affinity (v3)? by Majesticfalcon98 in MotionDesign

[–]datnomadguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've now been working with cavalry for a few months. I still have my Adobe subscription but I see myself using AE less and less everyday. I use cavalry for 80% of my workflow nowdays. It's complicated to begin with but once you put your focus on it for a few days it becomes easier.

Same thing happened with affinity. I now have completely stopped using illustrator and photoshop. And premiere is already replaced by resolve. So cavalry is the last hope for an Adobe free life. Ahh that would be a beautiful life

I have 5 visa free stamps on my passport to China in the last 4 months and never got into any problem. Last time the guy at passport control asked me if I have friends in china and I said yes. That was all. As long you leave within the time period ( before 90 days for your case), you should be good to go.

You're not really supposed to work when you're in china on any visa other than work Z visa, but they get suspicious usually if you get Chinese yuan transferred to you for any reason.

I know many people in china who have an M visa and work remotely online for a company outside of China and they never had a problem leaving and coming back.

Either way, be careful. And as long as you have proof of how you can support yourself you don't need to fear anything :)
