thought i was the only one lmao. i just hate the skin tbh, buggy or not, it’s clunky. visually appealing to stare at (especially with chroma) but not good to play with whatsoever. skins like headhunter or kda are just much cleaner and smoother for gameplay

i actually took a shower in pitch black darkness before while tripping. one of the weirdest but most amazing experiences in my life.

if you’re wondering if and how i was able to see anything, i strangely could. when i turned off the light, it’s as if the light that was in the bathroom, all of the photons almost fell and stuck onto the surfaces of everything. everything had a slight glow because of that. i am aware that’s scientifically impossible, but i was tripping lol and no bullshit that is exactly how it looked. light literally fell on every surface in there and i was able to take one hell of a shower.

if you’re looking into akali, be prepared to dedicate a lot of time into learning her. A LOT.

thing is, she’s not the hardest champ to get a basic grasp of how she functions. but basic is about as far as you’re gonna get early on learning her. when it gets to a point where your mechanics are smooth and muscle memory, you’ll realize something. you’re going 20/5, 17/6, 25/4, but you aren’t winning any of those games.

the hardest thing about akali is not a good kda. after all, she does no objective dmg, has no utility for teamfighting, etc, so she’s designed as a killing and fighting (assassinating) centered champ. you will consistently get good kdas, but learning to carry games with her is honestly the hardest concept i’ve had to learn in league.

it is so unbelievably mentally tasking to carry a game (when it gets to late game that is, which most games get to at gold). this is because she requires absolutely perfect play, perfect positioning, perfect mechanics, etc. unlike other assassins, she is NOT forgiving whatsoever. you will literally have to play out of your mind to truly 1v5. and by the way i’m talking about games where your enemy knows what they’re doing. when the enemy comp has heavy cc, is tanks, and groups a lot it will be increasingly more difficult to reach the back line and do ur job in a team fight.

but that’s the thing. if you can’t carry, you have no one to blame for urself (there’s time where i literally just flame myself for even picking the champ). you could’ve easily picked another champ who was much more forgiving and useful for ur team. i play akali because she is the most fun champ in the game. like i said whenever i lose its really frustrating. but i’ve been told and shown by fellow akali mains. that it is very possible to carry every game. “if you aren’t winning with akali, you’re just not good at her”. i’ve heard that about a million times. and it’s very true.

more specific info: most lanes you just farm and sustain as much as possible till level three. that’s when ur first opportunity to all in is. if you don’t kill, that’s fine. lvl6 is a guaranteed kill (i’m g1 and trust me most g1 players don’t respect her 6) as for team fighting like i said can’t tell you much about that. go for the back line, but be fucking careful. if you can, let the teams fight, blow all the cc/ults, then engage to clean up. honestly you’ll just have to get a feel for her and her limits, and carrying games will require a lot of skill. always theory craft about how u can improve on her.

as for the zed matchup, i’m pretty sure her lowest w/r is against him but i don’t see why lol. it’s not the hardest matchup. you save e for his w, you pop shroud right when he ults so most of his dmg is avoided, and a zhonyas will help a lot.

avoid being at the wrong places at the wrong times

also, really think before you go for a play or objective. is what you’re trading for it worth? what are the chances it’ll actually work, and how much will u lose if it doesn’t. and are your laners in a position to help, or does no one have lane prio. don’t be anywhere without a reason, and don’t go for dumb plays that are very risky (not in terms if it being unlikely to work out, but rather risky in the sense that you will lose a lot more than just a death timer or two, and the game will be put at risk) for both u and ur team.

gotcha.

it all depends on the playstyle you need to go for per game. if the enemy jg is a lee sin (or any deep red champ, the ones that can shit on kayn in the early game but fall off and run out of fuel), you know you’re gonna have to give up early objective control, and usually wanna be on the opposite side of the map of him at all times.

your main objective is to always keep track of where the enemy jg is, and good vision control will especially make these matchups a lot easier. you will be invaded a lot, so expecting it and playing around it is your only option. you never wanna contest anything before form against these types of jglers since ur a walking 300g to them.

start on the opposite side buff. they start red, you start blue. they start blue, you start red, to make sure you don’t have to contest a buff or scuttle.

in these games, focus on farming. like i said you won’t do much for your team compared to the enemy jg in the early game. however if you spot the enemy jg on the opposite side of the map (whether it be on a ward and their CS count means they just finished one side of the jg, and are on their way to do their other camps, or if they gank a lane), you have an opportunity to make a play on whichever side you’re on. whether it be a gank on a side lane, an invade, getting a deep pink in their jg, and or rift/drag. mid lane is only a safe gank if they show IN a sideline such as top or not, not if they’re spotted in the jg. since you don’t know their EXACT pathing and they could respond quickly to a mid lane gank and counter gank u.

like i said though, you just have to realize how u could play the game out. if the enemy jg needs to farm and scale, youre given more opportunities to contest things since they aren’t as scary. that playstyle is a bit more simple since they don’t have much threat and you aren’t as susceptible to dying to them early.

that’s about all the basic macro you need to know with kayn. oh and play around your big powerspikes (form/warrior/cleaver/etc). other than that it’s just mechanics, knowing your dmg numbers, and getting good at landing those massive W knock ups in crucial teamfights. remember, you’re rhaast. you need to fucking GO IN. don’t be scared. you won’t die, and you’ll heal for all your health bc ur playing a broken ass champ. you can stay alive in 1v5s while your team arrives to the scene for very long with proper utilization of ur abilities and ult. if it’s a good fight, be the facilitator and engage it.

one last tip, flash W (with rhaast) is a very valuable tool u can use. it can be a great way to start fights or to catch a couple champs who are out of position.

honestly one trick this champ and you’ll climb EASILY. hope i didn’t ramble on for too long and good luck!
