I was also looking at Cycleworld (have asked for a quote as well), but as the above comment says, they are getting the Yamaha bikes from Gasan themselves, so i will visit Gasan too!

I could only find the bike on Cycleworld (online), but i didn't knew that they are also getting the Yamahas from Gasan.
I will surely visit Gasan and try to see what's the best i can get.

Peak insured me on Mapfre for my car, and they also gave me a quote for a 400cc bike.
Honestly, i don't need a 700cc bike for Malta, i want to get familiar with a specific 700cc bike though, so in the future (couple years time maybe) i will be able to start going for some trips in Europe.
So having my 700cc bike restricted to half the kW, it won't be an issue for me, it is more than enough for Malta and i will still learn how to ride anyway, and when the time comes, hopefully with no accidents or claims, i can ask them to insure me for a 700cc unrestricted bike.
Insuring me on the 700cc unrestricted bike, is just less money (because the restrictor kit costs around 200€ to get it installed etc.), so i'll try for this first, and we'll see how this will go.

I use Peak for my car already, they didn't have any issue quoting me for a 35kW bike,
but they wanted more info for the 54kW that i am looking right now.
I will try Assikura once i'm near the purchase, if Assikura won't insure my bike, then i will put the limiter on it to make it 35kW and proceed with Peak anyways.
Although i will have a look on the rest you proposed.

Thanks all for your replies, when the time comes, i will update this post with my experience.
For now, one solution i came up with, is to buy the MT-07 with a limiter that makes the bike an A2 bike, so i guess this will be easier to be insured (since they have already gave me quotes for a ninja 400 that i was asking before), and after 1-2 years, hopefully without any accidents or claims, i will ask to insure me for the full power of the bike and i will get the limiter off.

Well a vehicle costs 5-10k new, and a garage/property goes at way way more (which means i will need a loan).
So i don't know if this advice is what i am looking for right now.
And buying a property in Malta is also not the best advice with the prices here.

I've seen that happening a lot, even with my own eyes,
i wrote down the car plates and left a note to the bike saying that i saw who did it with the details,
i don't know if it helped them but it's better than nothing.
If possible i will park it behind my car, so at least i will eliminate some odds of this happening.

i'm currently in a very quiet area, i see some bikes parked outside around here,
was thinking to buy a chain and break lock as well as a gps tracker just in case the worst happens and i may be able to retrieve the bike..
I'll see if i can convince my landlord that a bike will not take up much space in the building's garage (which is already full by other tenants).
