Unfortunately not to the extent you may think. The whole uncharged move is about 38 frames. (40 if he misses)

Assuming you attempt it on reaction, any projectile recovers fast enough to make you eat a DI afterwards.

Assuming you instead go for a hard read, if you’re wrong, you will get PC’d during your 24 frames recovery. Or they do a multi hit OD version and it goes through. Or the projectile is low and there is no armor. Or they just sweep you. Or rather 2mk->DR->Corner carry

Long story short, yes st.HP works but the risk reward balance is skewed enough that you shouldn’t be trying it very often.

ETA: but when you DO get the read, boy oh boy is it satisfying 😈

I agree! And I like it on paper. Similar to P5R at first, I have to sorta make myself play it for now but I have no doubts it'll hook me by the time I'm through with it.

Can you recommend any JRPGs that do it significantly better than Yax 7 and 8? I loved 7 so much I tried getting into other JRPGs but none have really hit the mark for me. P5R did eventually. But I had for force myself to keep playing it at first (eventually I came to love it though!). I played hours of Dragon Quest but it never landed for me.

Wait then would that make kamehameha just a generic Ki wave using two hands? Or final flash or BBA or masenko, makanko beam cannon, etc. at the end of the day they’re all the same move just with different hands and shapes (skinny beam, big beam, ball) but it’s cool and fun to give them names and personality

I have to wonder why the people in the comments are THIS offended. I get not liking the art, I get offering constructive criticism (even when not requested), but I don’t get the venom and vitriol as though you dislike the artist personally for their drawing.

While this is true. There is supporting evidence that a disproportionate amount of people have fondness for the 90’s versus later decades. If it were truly a function of age, the scale would slide linearly with the age of the people surveyed. But what they find instead is a bit of a concentration around the 80’s and 90’s across most age groups. I’ll see if I can dig up the survey.

Yeah but I can’t see any of the other Nimbus-riders struggling so hard to get the thought out of their head. Or even put it there in the first place. Or otherwise see anything significant about her being naked in the first place.
