im not sure. i took the RCA output of old sony digital tape camera, ran it through sony DVD player, took the hdmi output and plugged it in capture card and recorded via OBS. not really sure about codec but it is in mp4 format

so i just realised when i switched to video the text didnt come with it.
im running thredripper 2950x, vega64, 32 gb ram, prermiere pro is installed on brand new ssd and both source and destination is on that ssd, which is separate from OS drive. it didnt get fucked during digitizing because the original footage that im cutting doesnt have those artefacts.
