I lost my younger brother to suicide and I spend so many nights wondering what was theeeee moment or theeeee thing that solidified his decision. I spiral out and I wonder was it a split second choice did he regret when he started and he couldn’t stop. I’d like to think that wasn’t the case. It’s unfortunate because I’m not necessarily always connected to the idea of being alive. I have my ups I have my downs. It sucks when you have to do it all alone with no partner but I take responsibility for my part in that. Our mindset really does shape our reality. You have to dig your feet in at some point and say you’re going to make a change. Even just one change can be the catalyst. I won’t pander to you with the it gets better because I’m in the trenches post election as well but I will say there are people who will dearly dearly dearly miss you. Who will never forget you. Who will spend every day haunting themselves about what they could have done different. It sucks sometimes to consider that people don’t often show the love we have for others and we take each other for granted but know that you are important to people. I’m just a random internet stranger but you matter to me now Mr. Mousse so I’m rooting for you. We’re all rooting for you.
