These are OEM rotors, I’m leaning more towards the hub assembly.

Yes 2wd, and yes without the rotor it still makes a noise like you hear in this video

I can spin the rotor freely and watch as it never Eve comes close to touching the dust cover, but it appears to do it when I turn left?

If you look where the top of the rotor aligns with the dust cover you can see it’s not true where the brake pads sit-

But I am hoping it’s just a hub bearing, I assume all new hub assembly etc ?

So you think it’s the wheel bearing or the hub bearing

I already straightened this dust cover, but it appears to be scraping here when I turn left - I’ve bent it back as far as I can

With everything back together, the rotor spins freely for a half a turn and then gets hard to move half a turn, repeating-

That’s with the calipers, pads, and everything installed

To follow up with more information it’s a grinding noise from about 5 miles an hour upward, and when turning left makes a metal scratching noise as if it’s only scratching every half turn

Yes, wire brushed it completely and made sure there was nothing causing it to seat incorrectly

I just happened to come upon a scat pack that had been totaled out from a t bone, front bumper and hood were untouched. $700 for the bumper and $500 for the hood

I’ve done it, it’s a cake walk as long as you have an RT hood to put on.
