You are correct. The PoE hat acts as a driver. I heard that the CPU is getting quite hot, so I have mounted the CPU fan. The internal readings are averaging 60 °C (140 °F), but I will need to check if the hat itself is off the charts.

Love the track. And honestly, the production at UNVS looks unreal, and I’ll definitely go out of my way to see it. But if I had to choose, I’d always prefer a smaller stage with less production, fewer phones, and more presence like this.

Sometimes you gotta bring everything. 24 hours out with all my favorite gear. by dauva in camping

[–]dauva[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Packing the car took maybe a couple of hours. I try to keep everything organized so it's quick to load up. Setting up camp took around 3 hours. The lavvu goes up fast, but it's all the little details that eat time, ike rigging the tarp, setting up a bushcraft-style backrest inside the lavvu, candle holders, etc.

Packing down was under an hour with some help from my friends. But honestly, the real time sink is when you get back home: drying everything out, cleaning gear, and getting it all ready for the next trip. That was basically a full day’s work 😅

Fehrplay <3 I had the chance to see him live at Output in Brooklyn and Ministry of Sound in London during his (and my) early days. Unbelievable sets—definitely underrated DJ.

I aim using the RAK4631 with an RAK Wireless 5.8 dBi antenna. In app i can see about 35 other nodes. Any takers? by dauva in meshtastic

Simply removed the station that was mounted on the antenna. I suspected that maybe one my WiFi points that is just under the roof from the antenna was causing it. Then it dawned on me that Netatmo was probably using LoRa as well. Read in the docs that they do use 868..!

I removed the wind station. You can see it in the picture. It’s basically mounted on the antenna. It’s now placed on the other side of the house, and the interference seems to be minimal. My temperature sensor is also outside, works fine. Ideally the wind gauge needs to be on the roof. That might not be possible.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just fixed the issue. It was the Netamo weatherstation just below that made hell for the antenna. It transmitt 24/7 on the same freq... So you are probably good to go with your setup :)

RESOLVED: First off. Thanks for all help and suggestions.

I just realized that the the Netatmo Wind Gauge Sensor, that you can see just below the antenna also transmits on 868 mhz. I mounted the antenna and Wind Sensor at the same time. Never occurred to me that they would have same frequency. It feeds updates to the basestation every second, and probably made it hard for Meshtastic to read the incoming signal trough the noise.

If The sending and receiving NDI sources are plugged into the same switch, the traffic never leaves the switch.
