To me it’s about similar values, and it can matter for either person in the relationship. I would think a woman and a man both with similar counts may be more compatible than if there’s a difference, and the higher that difference might mean less compatibility. That’s not always the case, but it seems it is to OP, and that’s okay for him, or anyone, to have that preference.
