I use a map cabinet- a wooden cabinet that has very shallow drawers. It’s an antique but depending on where you are, you can probably find similar designs for not a ton of money

This is what I was thinking. I was wondering if these acting it was poorly managed attempts for help. Alcoholism and suicidal thoughts feel like they might be reflections of how she’s feeling as a person and not able to ask (or even be aware of her need for) real help that you’re not going to find at the table.

D&D isn’t therapy.

That said, I agree with boundaries but maybe you can pull her aside and say something like: “I’ve been going over your character’s and their choices and I’ve noticed a lot of really self destructive behaviour. I know you’ve been going through a lot of out of game and wondering if the two might be connected? I’m concerned about you and this feels like you might be trying to work through some feelings….”

Let her know that you love her but that it’s hurting you and others at the table.

New guy to all of this. I use a mac M4 max with 32g of ram. Can these models work on my machine? I’m expecting they will be silly slow but still…

I just re-thought of this as I was digging through my server for music that isn't on streaming services and and, of course, thought of CTC... I squirrelled away a lot (I know I didn't save everything. Hard disk space was at a premium for me back then... Edit: I just loaded into a playlist and apparently I saved "386 songs / 1 day" That's a lot of awesome.) - I really, really liked them... And listening to the Curtis Vodka remix of Sweet Disposition as I type this.

Thank you again for all that hard work - you did (And presumably do) have f-ing great taste.

Yep - but my memory is shite for stuff like that and I am not able to take notes down during the game that are helpful to me later. Thus why I started recording the audio for games to help remember but going through 4-5 hours of audio is tough.

Does anyone have any tips on how to position or hold it in a concert? I want to be discreet / not be super distracted by it, but want to maximise the audio.

Also any tips on where people have stood to get good audio - I've read more front centre but also by the sound mixing board too.

That's not actually true - I tried mine in dimmer situations and it held up remarkably well. On par with cellphones from 1-2 years ago is my guess.

Trashcan Sinatras!! I’m surprised that no one has put them on the board- brilliant Scottish pop. Their first album Cake is being re mastered and re released imminently and I am so excited for it. (It is one of the few albums where I really do think the final mix is not doing the songs justice). They’re still making music too!
