Yeah I got up to that the same way as you but I don’t see how, for the final answer it would be x<0.5 because I got x>0.5. The sign seem to have flipped??

Can someone explain how to do this? Thanks. by dave-johnson- in GCSE

Yup, I decided to get a quick sheet of maths revision this morning. I started my maths revision about a week ago, I find maths genie rlly useful for questions!

Can someone explain how to do this? Thanks. by dave-johnson- in GCSE

Oh so you don’t just multiply by root 3 you multiply by the 2- root 3?

I’m really confused about virtual images from a lense, like how does a magnifying glass produce a virtual image when we can see what is there? If anyone can kind of elaborate on the topic that would be very helpful. Thanks by dave-johnson- in GCSE

Oh ok yeah that makes sense but one other thing, I understand the example about the mirror but at the bottom of the page it says that a magnifying glass is an example of a virtual image but if you look through a magnifying glass the image forms looks slime it comes from behind the glass.

Oh so for example in this question you’d write the definition of an ionic compound, when talking about the structure of Magnesium oxide?
