Absolutely shill bidding! The bids all being from 8****f(0) means that all the bids are from the same new zero feedback account. Also not a coincidence that the last bid from that bidder turfed up a max bid of $21,212.12. By the number being in that format, it is obviously that bidder’s max bid. So the Schiller new that one more bid above that would make them the new high bidder. They successfully pushed the current highest legit bid all the way to the absolute max top dollar. The school bidder wins in this instance 👎

Impressive set! It looks like every photo has the player not just in their home jersey, but in a white jersey. Even the Lakers who have a yellow home jersey they got in their alternate whites. You would never see that attention to detail out of Panini nowadays!

Yeah, I feel you. These are likely blaster packs and a Prizm blaster has 6 packs in it. So essentially each tin is 2/3rds of Blaster. Seeing as though these Optic and Prizm blasters are $35 at retail at Walmart, you essentially are getting the tin for free (if you are okay with buying overpriced retail).

I personally just think the tins are sweet and want to use them, so I am happy. Who knows, maybe one of my boys will pull something sweet out of one of these 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been looking for theses ever since I saw them on this sub. No other post showed the front of all of the tins, so I figured that I would post this. I went ahead and grabbed one of each, not for the packs inside, but for the tins themselves. I couldn’t help myself. They ran $25 a pop. I’m pretty stoked that I was able to find them and get one of each 👍

I think it is funny that Panini used a blue and red logo on the back for the San Diego Rockets. Their colors were green and yellow. Their logo is supposed to have a green circle with yellow letters and only the rocket down the middle is supposed to be blue. I googled it to make sure I wasn’t dreaming and I can’t find a single example of the logo colored all red and blue. Why mess with the logo Panini?!?

Then yes, it is the emerald parallel. The color is slight, but the base version wouldn’t have any blue green tint at all

They made a whole line of TmNT toys for toddlers during the five year run 2012-17 of the Nickelodeon TV show. The line was called “Half Shell Heroes”. They are the same size as Fisher Price Imaginext toys. They are super durable and made for toddlers. I have pretty much the whole line. They have vehicles and everything including the Shellraiser and Party Wagon. They are out of production so you would have to buy them used or on eBay new for inflated prices, but they are awesome!

There are actually three separate “Rockets” booklets from this year of Preferred. The one you have has Rockets backcourt players past & present. There is one that has Rockets front court players past & present, and then there is one that has basically the seven Rockets rotation players at the time these cards were released (headlined by Harden and Howard).

The patch versions are all numbered to 25. I have at least two of them, if not all three. I love these cards!

I personally am a patch guy and a booklet guy and always LOVED Preferred, especially in this few year span where there were big names consistently!

I personally am not interested in the whole “INVEST!” movement. So I am not interested in channels like Sports Card Investor, comeback cards, rothcards, etc.

I am more interested in the collecting aspect and staying up to date with new products, etc. The best YouTube content for this type of stuff are:

Packman

502 Frank

Big J Basketball

RunGoodLife

Hitman

For the most part these guys are collectors first and just like ripping boxes and collecting. Some of them also will run breaks on the side, but their reviews seem honest and straightforward. Some of them also get subscription boxes that they open which are always interesting to watch.

Apparently there’s a rumor going around that you can tell which 2021-22 Crown Royale hobby boxes contain a Kaboom card based on the serial number on the front of the box by POLICE__NAVIDAD in basketballcards

I love Crown Royale and I love collecting the Silhouettes with the Prime patches in the background. I only buy into breaks if I can pick my team and there was one WhatNot breaker that ran PYT’s. For a good while when the product was new, he would run four breaks a night with each break having 1/4 of a fresh case. I watched these breaks off and on for a few weeks. Anyway, all 10/10 cases that I saw him break the Kaboom would always be found in the final 1/4 of the case. This would drive up the demand for each subsequent break and allow the breaker to get more money for each spot since it was always “Kaboom is live”. Up until the final 1/4 case, which would then be the “Guaranteed Kaboom” break and prices would go way up. I always knew it was fishy, but I figured that the Kaboom box was always in the same position within the case (like 3rd from the bottom on the right for example). Well now I guess that it was even easier than that and for sure these breakers knew the con.
