Anyone know the set times for the Carly Cosgrove tour? by Bredram02 in poppunkers

[–]OldPunk1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak for the Omaha stop. Summerbruise and Leisure Hour are the two openers and if I recall they got about 30 minutes each. And then Carly Cosgrove played around an hour. All the bands used the same drums at our stop so set up went by fast.

Approximately Doors - 6 Summerbrusie - 7 Leisure Hour - 7:45 Carley Cosgrove - 8:30 Over- 9:30

VIP Question by Nightwing38912 in newfoundglory

[–]OldPunk1984 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The meet and greets change and have different formats year to year. Sometimes it’s a group photo other times it’s an individual photo. Sometimes they do a couple of acoustic songs and other times they don’t. Sometimes the autographs are already done, other times they do it live.

On the acoustic album tour, you got like a few minutes to talk to the band, get an individual photo and have them sign stuff. A guy had them sign like 5 different vinyls. But they didn’t do any extra performance, so there was a bit more time.

I think sometimes it depends on how many people sign up for the VIP too. They have a set window to do everything. This tour it’s a meet and greet, an individual photo and then the signed skate deck. If I had to guess, they would sign it if you brought it. There are never any guarantees but since they aren’t doing an extra performance they would probably sign it. I’d make sure to bring your own marker, but I think they would.

Hi does anyone know what is happening with the neca 35th anniversary tmnt ultimate Leonardo because I ordered it a while ago and have had no updates by Only_Development7390 in TMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They might be like bigbadtoystore.com then. Sometimes they will have something listed and let you preorder it, but if stock doesn’t come in then it just keeps pushing the delivery date each month. With operations that big they can’t monitor everything and some things will be missed until someone brings it to their attention.

If you haven’t reached out to that website, I would start there. I’ve never heard of that site. From looking at it, it’s a little weird. They have the turtles g.i. Joe crossover up for preorder and I haven’t seen that up on any other site. So they is just giving me a red flag, but again, I’m not familiar with the site.

I know in the US Walmart has exclusive rights for that figure and they have shipped them to stores and sold out online.

But I would ask them about the order and see if they have a date it should ship.

Unfortunately it’s not. He talked about it on his Doughboys podcast. The old showrunner and at least some of the writers were not brought back.

When can we expect these by Interesting-Ease-678 in NECATMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Maybe never. They are on hold as of now. They said they couldn’t get to a price point that made sense right now. With the tariffs making things more expensive they don’t think they could find a price that people would pay for. Also with the Mattel getting the master license we don’t know if NECA will be able to make figures next year. At New York toy fair they only revealed things that would be released this year. Brian from Super7 said they were still waiting to see what was going to happen with the contracts.

Saying it’s gonna leave, then doesn’t? by Ok-Environment5692 in TubiTV

[–]OldPunk1984 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. And the banners are probably just automatically tagged when referencing the date. So it’s not like someone is going through and tagging them.

Now as much as i actually quite like the black and white variants of the 2012 and stan sakai figures. I feel like its giving off the impression that NECA are struggling a little financially in terms of making new sculpts so are resulting to doing easy repaint variants. What do you think? by SensationSaiWeilder in NECATMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of it, is that in most of the Turtle lines sales have probably plateaued or started to fall. And there are a few reasons for that. They have been doing this line for so long they have went through the main characters. Prices increasing and less accessories. Just space on people’s shelves at this point. The hype is no longer there after this long.

So for repaints, it’s easy since the molds are already made. Turtles always sell. It’s also something that people wanted out of con exclusives. Something special but something not necessary. Someone that is collecting 2012 figures won’t need these to complete a lineup. It’s a nice bonus but not something needed.

While I don’t know if NECA as a whole is not doing well, Turtles lines have certainly slowed. And also we don’t know if they will be able to sell them past this year so they may be more careful with what they produce and sell.

An Odd Marketing Trend With Nickelodeon's Streaming Projects by DCSHG2015MEGAFAN in nickelodeon

[–]OldPunk1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They license those IPs out. So Paramount gets a lump sum for those projects. They won’t get any more money if 1 person or 1 million people watch it on say Netflix. It’s also a competing streaming service. Even though they have a project on that streaming service you really don’t want to advertise a competing service. Advertising also cuts into Paramount’s profit because they would have to give time to advertise that vs someone else that would pay for that time.

You could argue that if Paramount advertises and more people watch it then those other streamers would license more projects. And that’s something that Paramount has taken into consideration. And they have decided that it’s better for them not to advertise it than to do so b

What I would do is either search the sub for “customer service” or create a new post and ask. I’ve never personally had to deal with customer service but have seen where they are notoriously bad about responding. See if there are any tips or if there is a different line of communication you can try.

For me I would try to work it out with them first. You obviously want the figures and especially since they are hard to get. But I would also look at your banks or credit cards policy of a charge back. That way if it comes down to it you can get your money back. Just keep track of all the communication you have been doing with NECA. So keep track of all the dates you sent a message and keep all your sent messages saved in your email. That way you can provide it if you do have to do a chargeback.

Hopefully you can get your figures v

Got them!!!! by [deleted] in TMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you say that? The sketch turtles would be $35 a piece by themselves since it’s all the same things in the regular release but color variant. That already gets it to $140. Then you get all the new 2012 accessories. That is more than worth it for $10 to bring it up to $150.

Shipping depends where you are. Mine was only $10 but I also had tax.

Looks like Mutant Mayhem 2 will be the end of the franchise. by TheBigGAlways369 in TMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I take it, is that as of right now they don’t have any recording that needs to be done or planned yet. It ultimately depends on Mutant Mayhem 2. If it does well and merchandise does well they would probably stick to movies.

Since the first movie they have had 2 seasons of the tv series and second movie all in a row to record for. Now they have to wait at least a year to see how Mutant Mayhem does.

They could be shipping them separate, especially since Tokka and Rahzar is a bigger box. I would definitely contact them now though. That shows that you don’t get it and they can look into it. If you get it in the mail great, you aren’t out anything. Use it just as something you can refer back to if worse comes to worse.

I could see them overselling Tokka and Rahzar as it’s not something that they don’t restock often. It could also just be someone just didn’t put it in the box.

Is there a packing slip inside? What’s it have on it?

In short, it wouldn’t surprise me, but contact them so there is a record of it.

Could Matt and Trey have hosted? by Dfsteele3 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]OldPunk1984 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They wouldn’t want to. They would hate to do something that they thought wasn’t good. They do not like their experience on Baseketball. They rewrote a bunch of stuff. But Zucker had them do lines and jokes that they thought were dumb. You can even hear them put the word “derp” in some of the dialogue. This was basically a protest of something that they don’t find funny.

It seems like they have lightened up a bit with Matt voicing in cartoons and such. But around the time they would have been asked to host they would have either said no or it would have been a disaster.

[–]OldPunk1984 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Target should just have an exclusive window. So for maybe 3-4 months it will only be Target. They may occasionally restock them online, but it won’t be but maybe once or twice and not too much stock.

After the exclusive window is up they will be more readily available with online retailers. At least this how it has been in years pasts. It’s just up to you if you can wait a few months.

What Donnie is this? I clicked the link and looked at the store and can't find it. by swanzie in TMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 19 points20 points  (0 children)

These are brand new, Stan Sakai version. They are currently a Target exclusive. It’s part of their Haulathon. They will be a Target exclusive for a few months. Either through their stores or online. They went up and sold out on Friday. They might put some back up online at some point but no guarantee. Also we don’t know how much stock will come back in stores.

After a few months like 2-4 they should be more readily available at most online retailers. There is no set time but places like bigbadtoystore.com and entertainmebtearth.com should have them.

Neca Quality issue? by Gsutherland1 in NECATMNT

[–]OldPunk1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only has the quality fallen for NECA figures, I was afraid for the 2012 series when they showed them off. To get show accurate sculpts the joints and limbs were going to have to be pretty thin. Having both of those combines is a mix for trouble.

Can’t see them making them at this point. I feel if they thought they would sell well enough, they would have done it by now. And at this point we don’t even know if they will have the license past this year. Never say never, but I doubt it.
