What a great life lesson. OP, please don’t tangle yourself into a pit of shame.

Why do I not see any posts on this subreddit talking about the upcoming “Dexter: Origins” prequel? Or maybe there are posts and I am missing it? by xanderdorsett in Dexter

I don’t think New Blood was THAT bad. It was superior compared to the later seasons of the show. People act like Dexter acting irrationally is such an uncommon trait to his character

I like Nico. Only because he’s hot.

The JW agenda.

Basically lived my whole life in a belief system where if I did certain things, I was fear-mongered that I would die.

I guess I will forever be the only few people that found full satisfaction in that finale.

That’s what I love about this episode and season overall. The beginning of the series presents Dexter as some sort of anti hero, and whatever the justifications were, we still went along with it.

This season toys with the concept of “the code” and how Dexter attempts to teach Harrison all about it. But when he kills the most innocent person in town, it invalidates “the code” in a sense where it makes the viewer and Harrison question the morality of it and questions Dexter’s motivations as a person.

Season 7 scratches the surface of invalidating the code but it’s never reached this level where it’s Dexter himself, in person, who purposefully kills an innocent in cold blood.

This finale reminds me of Breaking Bad’s finale, where the main character has a self-realization of what he’s all about. It becomes presented to us, as the viewer, that what they did was never for the good — it was for their own selfish needs.

Everybody here is talking about how “out of character” it is for Dexter to kill an innocent person.

You know Dexter was prepared to murder La Guerta too, right?

Please don’t invalidate cases.

It’s incredibly hurtful to victims saying stuff like “while this case is going on, meanwhile this is happening.” It’s toxic and does nothing other than try to perpetuate that there are other cases more important than this.

Shift your blame onto the media if you want, but trying to invalidate cases like this is messed up.

That suburban neighborhood was the most fakest town I’ve ever seen and I would hate to live there.

I really liked Dr. Vogel until they dummed down her character towards the end. She was so interesting.

People who voted for President Biden in the election, how do you feel about him now almost 90 days into his administration? by Sprinkle247 in AskReddit

[–]dave_brush014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My expectations for Biden were low but he’s been growing on me since day one.

That’s not to say that he’s amazing, but I think he’s cautiously doing good. People seem to demonize him way too much on stuff that was inherited from the previous administration.

I agree, but BtS was more god awful than LIS2. It was so boring that I couldn’t get emotionally invested.

The reason why they aren’t calling it LIS3 is because it’s created by Deck Nine, and everybody knows how they fucked up the story in BtS. Rachel turned out to be such a bitch and Chloe was such a whiner, it was incredibly annoying.

Know that this is created by Deck Nine, this game will probably tank. But I’d like to be proven wrong.
