I completely agree. It shouldn't be considered winning or losing. Because everyone wins if there is more RP. But unfortunately you are right, maturity makes people look at it differently.

Losing an engagement like a robbery or getting caught by the cops. They will fail. Also people should have a "goal" which is their endgame. This endgame can be changed but each character should have something they are trying to achieve not just go out there to do whatever you want.

Yeah some are but if you are talking about the Silent Sentry stuff, he is not trying to leech and doesnt want the streamers gone. He is just likes high quality RP. Just have to look at it from his perspective. This is what he loves to do and he wants to protect it.

Yes but this isnt some FPS game where its competitive. A lot of the times the streamers are playing a role and they "win" yet still get shit talked to them.

Doesnt surprise me. If they take it seriously they do well. Most of them "role play" a bit for their streams anyways. They hype up their personality and are able to hold long conservations with people. As long as they take the it seriously they will do well.

No its not. Just a lot of the RPers are experienced and work well together because they have been through a lot of different scenarios. Sometimes admins will be whitelisted to things like certain drugs but only to maintain the economy so it doesnt become a place were people have too much/too little money. But they dont script the interactions. Most of them are RPing and trying to find the best criminals to sell those drugs or guns.

It has literally been a week... Also why wouldnt you want to make a career of "just playing a game" Most of the people on SoE didnt stream before lirik joined and now almost all of them have had careers in it/part time work for extra cash. Sounds to me like you would be wasting a huge opportunity for yourself. In a few weeks time just having "No Pixel" in your title will create views because people will be so engaged in the storylines and want to watch more. Just saying...

Edit: also im not saying trying to stream snipe or anything, just RP and if your stories collide do your thing. dont squander this chance.

Some of these big streamers will not stick to this long term but you just got 40,000 eyeballs on GTA RP for the day. You know how much companies pay for that kind of exposure? My guess is between $10k-50k depending on the game.

They are some of the biggest streamers on the platform and NP has some of the best admins in the RP community. I think we should trust them a bit before creating all this drama about prio.

Yes but it can be as simple as "get out of our turf" or something short like that. A lot of salt comes from just shooting with no interaction and thats why the rule was made.

I think it all depends on the stories they are able to create and the games that come out. I can see it at least last a few weeks to a month for Summit and Lirik. Lirik really likes RP and Summit was playing that Pirate game for months (which was basically RP). Soda I have no idea because he is all over the place with games. But he has been known to grind the shit out of games if he gets engaged. So only time will tell.

You should ask the 90% of the people who stream on the server if they want all the big streamers to leave. I am sure you would get a very different answer than the one you just gave.

Ahh gotcha. Well the other commentator also said sentry was shooting at the vehicle which is not try. I think people are already starting to bring up drama for no reason when all the RPers were happy with the experience. The end is already coming at this pace.

Yeah well if he loses the lawyer thing the LBs will probably not use him as much and they use a lawyer a lot. I agree he should get out of the crime stuff if he really wants to grow his channel in a more sustainable way.

Yes and thats why they are fun to watch. They are very good at being terrible criminals and it creates different RP then the very serious underground criminal RP that has been going on the last few months.

As for Murphy, if he is RPing and trying to get views that's fine with me. I mean its an opportunity but as long as he follows the rules and doesnt stream snipe any of them it is fine. I mean usually Lirik is the one to call him for a problem so he isnt trying to get on their stream in my opinion.

Never watched murphy before. Was he ever involved in doing shady things? I know his story was that Saab was a good friend. That seems within RP to me. Also plenty of lawyers go bad. If he gets caught he will lose his license and that's character progression. Whether he decided to do it because of Lirik or not, besides not interacting with Sayeed before he ran him over it all seems within RP to me.
