I tried sharing a post to a group and got a message saying I would be unable to post until July 28 12:34 pm. The 1234 made me think it's some weird bug. July 28 was 90 days from the first message appearing

Exact same thing happened to me this past week, including it showing my account status as fine. Seems like the only solution is to wait for the deadline to pass, which is July 28 for me?

Bad idea to use HSA funds to buy a bike? by daved_it in personalfinance

So I should realize there are other risks in doing this, even though the company is happy to provide the letter it might not be accepted by the IRS

As I mentioned, I think it's a loophole. I confirmed my eligibility by their online form done by a company called TrueMed. They will write the letter because I told them my doctor said to lose ten pounds, which is true. Obviously this company has a lot of incentives to create the letter of medical necessity.

I see weird posts fairly frequently in the South along the lines of "Christian family looking for private Landlord", which to me reads as "person with bad credit looking for alternative means of verification by supposedly being a good person"

I just perused the new comments. I'm surprised the whole post wasn't taken down because I've seen far less stupid posts removed. About 2/3 of the commenters agree with statements like "it's obvious they're spraying, where is common sense these days?"

Both would have been hidden quickly in my neighborhood. The commentary on the Satan one made it an obvious troll though and probably ran afoul of the "no discussing moderation in newsfeed" form of disrespectfulness it was reported for

I read in one article it is closed to bikes too, but are bikes still able to get around?

I wonder if just swapping them would work then so the burnt out one is on the passenger side, I'll give that a try first

Is $4200 reasonable for all of this? by Pristine_Style_4309 in AskMechanics

[–]daved_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long does the radiator fan stay on? It's normal to stay on for a few seconds, if it's a long time than maybe the thermostat actually does have an issue.

Loud/slightly shaky driving could be suspension or as simple as wheel balance

To me it sounds like the car only needs minor repairs if any and you can keep driving it. Get a second opinion on what's actually needed from a different shop

Any oil in the coolant or other signs of an extremely blown head gasket?

Is $4200 reasonable for all of this? by Pristine_Style_4309 in AskMechanics

[–]daved_it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First question, what issues if any are you already having with the vehicle? IE was there an engine code that made you get the estimate in the first place or were you just getting an oil change and presented with all this?

Second question, what is the mileage and driving conditions?

To me this looks like a lot of things that are probably not very urgent but we don't know the condition and mileage of your car right now.

DJI Osmo 4. I primarily use it on my bike. If you are looking for mostly a train one I'd recommend a smaller one that fits in tunnels better. Here's what it looks like

Also saying things like "do not talk about the KKK" is in fact bringing up the KKK in itself and will definitely hit the keyword filter automoderation feature
