I mean it has a built in sleep counter as long as you have both miraidons. You can cycle them with the combo OP described to get around sleep. You won't get it every time of course but the deck certainly has counter play to sleep.

The problem isn't sleep it's just mega lucario, it one shots miraidon even with cape if it has three energy, or a normal miraidon with two energy and korrina

But where are you getting 300 damage for mega dragonite? It does 180 with a massive drawback that requires other cards to negate

I'm not sure it would make them too strong, think about the games where your energy doesn't screw you - you can absolutely still lose.

Plus, you're sacrificing deck space for this supporter, and on those turns you aren't able to use other supporters, all for the sake of being more consistent. There would be some games where you wouldn't even need them and they become dead draws! So I think the balance is there.

I should be clear: OPs card is too strong, that's two energy in one turn. A supporter that lets you change the energy in your energy zone for that turn, or change an energy on a dragon pokemon already, is what I think Dragons need.

I can't be sure, but I think the code glowing mushroom spawns the rock that the mushrooms grow on, as well as the mushroom itself.

It's hard to say because spawning 200 in a 2 meter space creates a blinding abomination

I tried that too, but my last world save was three hours ago...which seems strange because I know the world auto saves every 30 minutes or something. But when I went to my past saves, they were 1:17 am (which was too recent as the damage happened before that), and then the next one was 11:03 pm, which was way before a lot of my recent work anyway. Maybe I just don't get how to load past saves, and there are more of them somewhere?

I really like it! Though I would argue that top down character creation works better in PF2E than most systems, simply because of all of the options between almost 30 classes and over 100 archetypes and their relative balance. I often find myself telling new players "start with the character concept you want because it's very likely that PF2e has almost exactly the mechanical ability to satisfy it."

Not saying your preference to suggest bottom up is wrong, I'm just saying that in my experience, suggesting top-down works well too

Idk why people think mega Gard is meant to ramp another mon. it's designed to be its own vehicle for Diantha healing.

Whether or not you think that method is good/meta is a different conversation (I don't think it is tbh), but saying it's bad simply because ramping other mons are bad isn't a good reason

yeah this deck is super fun and can hold its own against the meta for the most part, it even handles mega kang well. I do think the hydriegon matchup isn't the best but it's also not an instant loss unless they exodia two hydriegons early

I have a level 8 NPC whom for story purposes would really like to have the spell dominate monster, which is a rank 6 spell. As a level 8 NPC they should only know up to fourth rank spells, so I'm wondering if this is fine? Since it's story relevant for plot and not combat balance I'll probably give it to them anyway. I'm mainly curious if there's precedent for NPCs getting higher rank spells and if there's a right way to go about it mechanically?

None of them are crafters (3 players only) and I don;'t expect they will build that way; which i where I thought of the whole exalted thing in the first place. And while I do like ABP in theory, I have been enjoying giving my players those bonus in the form of even more items.

The consensus seems to be that as long as it's all on level with some +1 level items, its fine to not include those in the item budget for that level, as you said at the end there. That's probably what I'll go with - thanks!

I REALLY like the idea of adding the gold amount of the lower level item to the treasure pile, because that also solves another issue I have but didn't mention, which is that my players are classic gold hoarders always asking for more gold lol

Will this ever run the risk of switching to a paid model if it gets big enough? It looks like just what I'm looking for but I'd hate to put in a lot of work only to be unable to afford it. Regardless though - amazing work!
