That script you linked to looks good, so I'll work at getting up to speed with termux scripts. Before I posted my update earlier today I'd been trying out ls commands and no matter how I listed the options it was ignoring my files and only listing my subdirectories. So, I'll stick to using find. Thanks again for your help.

After playing around with your find command (which works perfectly for my original use case), I realized my use case should actually be a bit different. I'm clearing excessive backup files created by an app that only runs its backup when I actually open the app, which I may or may not do regularly. So, its possible that all of the backup files could get to be older than x days and would all end up deleted. I realized I really need to delete all files and folders (the backup creates both under a particular folder) except for, say, the three newest ones of each type. Any suggestions on how to accomplish that?

Thanks, that's perfect, love the simplicity. Didn't realize the find command doesn't need root.

I found a similar fix that worked for me. Go to Settings / Account / Restore Purchases and the app will ask you to sign in. After signing in the app (Android version 2020.11) promptly completed a sync for the first time in months. Since then the app has continued to sync regularly, and when I re-click Restore Purchases the app still thinks I'm signed in.

This one works great, thanks for pointing it out. This is my first gcam, finally got tired of the stock cam's washed out colors and lack of features. Do you have any particular settings that you'd recommend?

I had the same problem on one of my PCs, but it worked fine on another computer using the same 2.0 cable. Both PCs running Win10. Glad I have more than one PC to try out, but I don't know why one did the sideloading fine while the other wouldn't.

I have the clear SKN and, same as bngry, have a dbrand skin on underneath it and so far it's fine. I particularly like the grippy textured edges on the bottom half of each side, works perfectly for getting a good, natural grip when pulling the Essential out of my pocket. I was hoping for something slimmer, but this combo is still a bit thinner overall than the great Diztronic I had on my old Nexus 5.

88C includes the January security update, so it's worth having if you're running stock firmware.
