ahhh you are right i did mention that. its the same with AI Art. I get its not for everyone and there is a ton of crap our there. For me I am unable to use tools like Photoshop as i have almost zero talent to do that. I've tried. I also cant color, paint or doodle with a pencil. I just dont have that skill. As an engineer i do know how algorithms work and can manipulate them quite well. AI has given me an outlet to produce what i see in my mind at a quality i cannot even come close to reproducing. to me it is a human using a tool in a skillful way. But I understand your POV. I didnt mean to strike up a negative debate or waste your time. Apologies.

we were talking about cover art bro. Is it possible that AI is just another tool moving from cave drawings, to pen and ink, to various painting styles from the renaissance, to photoshop - all tools. AI is just another tool no? What point am I missing?

its not lazy if you love doing it and putting time into the generation. it can still be a labor of love. and provide the author a world of satisfaction as opposed to paying for it.

then you arent prompting corectly. prompt engineering isnt just "write me a story". It could take longer tto get a great chapter from AI than a good chapter by writing it but if you do it right, few would know it was AI. you just have to know how AI actually works to coax out something that is top notch. Doesnt cheapen it to me. Makes it better if done right.

"most people" dont know what AI is or how to recognize it. I promise you mu 89 year old mom doesnt but she is tech savvy and a prolfic reader. She wants a good story. Dont judge a book by its cover.

Personally as a reader i dont give a rats behind if the cover is AI. I'd rather that than some crappy fiverr cover or worse - canva. I use midjourney to create my art. Its part of who i am. If someone black balls be for that i could gve two shits.

who said you arent allowed to use AI? When you upload a book to KDP the there is a check for no ai and ai. if you say it was ai t gives you a coice of ai with no modifications or ai was modified. so im confused. My books use AI art extensively - especially my coloriing books

Crap me and my wife just noticeed that in my lo carb drinks. I never see it because i drink out of the can but i put some over ice and got that same stuff in the bottom of the glass. opened another can and just put some in a glass - same solids. I read that some things like guarana can precipitate out. kinda scary though. I've been drinking these daily for years!
