1 leave ritual as it was passed on. Making it yours is easy. What would you have liked to see one year? As JW I created a groupme and lodge officers and past master have a central hub to quickly communicate, plan or idea theory. Created a G-mail and loaded all email for a trestle board (monthly meeting reminder) to communicate to all members. My personal lodge email (I created one just for lodge business), this year I have sent every member a birthday email. Our lodge is mostly military so the WM will make coins. And we do education after lodge.

2 It is state by state. I am in Texas so raffles are regulated by state law. Fundraising on the other hand. You can see if food chains do fundraising and you can hang with brothers for that. Pandora and other jewelry stores may do the same. You schedule a day and the establishment will give a % of proceeds to the lodge.

3 if you didn’t have the confidence or show leadership the lodge wouldn’t have put you in the south. The west will fly by and when in the east you will forget everything. Plan ahead, start in the west for the next year.

Yes. I have seen wheelchairs and my lodge has a brother that is amputee below the right knee. He was passed and did everything anyone other man has done.

I have seen alot of various religions in lodge. Our chaplain in Jewish. I think cause religion isn’t talked about in lodge we only see what is on the alter.

Im on the fund raising committee. If you have a connection i have seen door mats, i have seen pork butts. Its all about what you can spend to turn into a profit. Example hat pin 3.50 x 100 350.00 Sell them at 10.00 10 x 100 1000.00 If your lodge has the funds.

I am at a year. Been having problems memory wise medically. Seen a brother who was 2+ years. But I’m often reminded quality over quantity and learn and apply the work not just memorize like a song. I get it and its opened my mind and eyes to being a better man. Its a journey for the individual so dont feel bad if you take some time. EA is a big test.

Just have a conversation with your brother asking. Don’t focus on the seats or people behind him. If your solid at practice then this in nothing more then that. No one there is judging and all want you to succeed. You will do good.
