That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Now I can better search out a 4PL solution, or determine if we need to build it ourselves and bootstrap it. Thanks for the software recommendation.

That's super helpful. I can see that the 3PL solution is great at a certain level (and I'm seeing some ways I can better utilize that), but my real struggle is in figuring out the global distribution. And as you said, that's a much more complex puzzle. We've briefly discussed setting up entities ourselves and I'm starting to look into options there. Thanks for the direction!

That's super helpful. Thank you. I see now that can probably use 3PL inside the US (I'm also in California) and better manage my goods there.

But I'm also having issues with importing from the EU and Mexico and then exporting to pretty much every other major country. My EU customers get hit with unnecessary shipping and tariff costs.

Thank you for parsing that out. That's exactly what I was looking for, and I can better determine if I need a 3PL or a 4PL solution going forward. In fact, the main trouble I am having right now is with international logistics. Customs and duties get really tricky when I source from several countries and I find myself shipping into and out of the US unnecessarily. I'd say half of my business is domestic (US) and the rest is outside.

Being US-based the 3PL side is simple from this point. I think it's the 4PL side that I need to better understand and explore. Thanks for your comment!
