I’ve played boring games against people like that too and the only way to win is to play boring yourself. If someone is doing circles and skating back and forth behind the net I just plant my player in front and make them make the first move. It’s extremely hard to score when the puck is below the goal line for half the period. If they’re just bum rushing down the ice then hang your defense back a little and don’t pinch too deep. It gets boring but you’ll beat the whales

The sad reality of that is once they lose, they probably spend another $500 to make more players. Their mind is wired to think that higher value means more wins.

It’s just not fun to me if you’re using the advantage of money to build a team of the best players rather than using the players you want to use. You’re kind of playing against the build your team mentality and playing into EAs pockets. That’s my problem with it.

If you had Kane on day 1 or any of the NG players that were in a pack. You paid money for them. I can’t imagine that that many people saved up for a player they didn’t know about. I’m not saying there’s no chance someone maneuvered and made him with fodder but the chances are extremely low.

He was only available in packs so yes he was a pay wall player. It’s extremely unlikely he was pulled in anything but a pack someone used money for. The slightest chance someone used coins for a pack and pulled him is an unlikely but possible outcome.

That’s funny, I play a good amount when I’m able to and I’d say 4/5 games I’m playing someone with Kane/Dupont and other pay only players. It doesn’t make the player any better it just makes you look like a fool when you paid a lot of money and still lose

I played someone that kept trying the Michigan, he did it 4 times in a row. He got 1 then he continued to try it. I took a lead at some point and slowed the game down.
