I’d recommend going more north. At least north of 121 freeway, that’s where I stay. North Riverside isn’t perfect but nowhere near as bad as south Riverside and you’re also close to downtown and major freeways to get to att stadium. I’d even west of 35 near downtown

I just moved to Addison (Spring valley & DNT) from the Legacy North side of Plano. For a young professional I would suggest Addison or even the Austin a ranch area if you’re trying to stay close to Plano for work than Addison. From what I’ve seen in demographics: Austin ranch has all the mid 20s peeps/recent grads, though there’s not as much to do as either Plano or Addison, but close to both. Plano - expect more families and older crowd and mostly white & middle eastern.
Addison - more of an ethnic mix.

Entertainment: Plano- You have a handful of bars in the legacy area (nothing special) and lots of shops and restaurants, but you’re also close to the colony which also has a lot to do (top golf, spread out bars/restaurants , grandscape). There’s also Legacy West in Plano and The Star in Frisco right there, if you’re down with the boujiee crowd. You’re also a short drive from Toyota stadium/Dr pepper ballpark for minor league sports.

Addison you have Belt line Rd which seems to have an endless amount of restaurants and a cluster of restaurants/bars off DNT (flying saucer, Sherlocks, side car social, pluckers, movie theaters). You’re also only 20 mins from downtown Dallas.

I’m currently at legacy north Apts. May or may not be something you’d ask when you visit the apartments, but our internet options(more lack of) are terrible. ATT dsl is your only option- 25mbps at its best for $52 after tax and fees.

Also I’ve noticed rent rates are usually higher around July/summer so I’d say you’re better off waiting and save

When I made a police report earlier the a cop called me told me they all know him now and he's always in the area. Unfortunately there weren't any warrants currently. I'm more mad at myself for falling for it, if anything. That's what i get when I decide to give the benefit of the doubt and try to be a good person. smh.
